Any pics or info regarding the ‘22 Rogue iron lineup?

I’d be really interested in a new version of the Rogue X irons and hybrids… has anyone seen or heard anything about this?

I heard there will be a Rogue and Rogue Pro Iron release. Both cast, with the Pro being a smaller profile as you'd expect.

Heard the same for the Hybrids too.

If that’s true, this is going to be a pretty boring release for them.
Their even year releases are always pretty blah anyway, but at least the Rogue X line was something different. i appreciated that they called it what it was, a pure distance club.
Those irons gained quite a following at my club, and quite a few are still in bags. The high and mid caps jumped on them right away, then about 2-3 years in, even some of the older single digit players started buying them.

The hybrids were really the standout for me though. That 18* was a misleading launcher.  If I could find them in the lighter flex I’m playing now, I’d buy them right away.

Pics are up on Callaway’s website. I was interested to see the Pro and if it was a more forgiving hollow body iron than the Apex Pro. My initial impression is that the back of the iron just looks cheap. I don’t understand why Callaway feels the need to put superfluous labels like “tungsten” on the club, I don’t understand the black elastomer vs solid piece, and if you have to use the elastomer cut out at least make it flush with the back. I have been a Callaway ho for twenty years and have always loved their excellent customer service but their recent aesthetics of their mid to low handicap clubs are making me scratch my head. I need to replace my apex 16 combo irons in the next year or so as grooves are wearing out and one parameter I want is no plastic stuff in the cavity and no superfluous text. I want the same same clean and classy look of the Callaway MBs in my Apex. Sorry for the bourbon induced rant but I can’t be alone in this regard. Mizuno pro 225 is what I expected and wanted in the 2021 Apex, might just have to abandon the Callaway ship and try the 225s😒

Three pics of fitting heads for those interested. Shows the Titleist T200, Rogue ST Pro (in plastic wrap) and Mizuno Pro 225. In same order in other pics ( L-R) or (Top to Bottom.) Eye balling it the Mizuno is probably smallest by a touch, but these are all in the same ballpark. T200 is slightly longer blade length while the Rogue ST has the same squattier look as the Apex.

The Rogue looks nice. I do wonder if it will be hard to keep the edge clean around the cutout on the back. But definitely going to hit them. A little bigger overall profile compared to the Mavrik Pro.

I wonder if they will have stock to deliver fairly quickly after the pre order opens? Callaway is normally pretty good about such things, but with the supply chain ongoing nightmare who knows what will happen.

Mizuno in a runaway win.  Titleist needs a TMB that looks like the 620 blade similar to what Mizuno has done w/ the HMB(2020)/225.  Callaway needs to do one that looks like an Apex MB.  Taylormade got close with the 770.

In the overall looks category, I agree the 225 wins. I’m not crazy about the “show the tech” look on the Rogue ST, but I don’t hate it. Won’t be a deal breaker for me if I love the clubs. Not sure if the AI computer spit that out or if it is purely cosmetic. Maybe they feel great? I think the weight showing on the Apex MB looks kind of cool so maybe this will grow on me. i really like the shape. Finish is pretty.

I am excited to hit all of them and see how it looks. I’m even going to hit the Stealth, just to check it out. Leader in the clubhouse is probably the 225. So elegant looking. i do hear dueling feedback on those: Some say the 223 feels better, some say they can’t tell the difference.

Which one looks best from address and feels the best on various shots will be the winner, assuming they’re all comparable on the numbers.

Not sure why more people don't play the '21 apex mb. It's got like no offset and has a very subtle rounded profile. The pw thru 8 iron are perfect looking. I could see going CB or GI after that though depending on skill level.

I deff want to try the ST Pro in a 3-4 iron

Got to hold the rogue pro fitting head today, it looks real good in hand. Sole looks workable and no pre worn leading edge, which is a plus for me.

Cements the preoder for me, I was pretty well set anyway but I at least wanted to see it 1st. Might go back and hit it when they are not busy, but why let numbers ruin the fun.

Curious what you think you'll like better about the Rogue Pro vs Apex 21 you have listed in your WITB? Before I made my last irons purchase I was pretty gung ho about the Mav Pros. The price was great and they were still somewhat of a players club with the smaller profile, etc. Coming from a forged iron though, the feel is just so much better. I narrowed it down to Apex Pro pretty quickly in the Cally line.  I'd assume anything the Rogue Pro can do, your Apex 21 can do with better looks, performance, and feel. Just my .02 cents.

Personally I don't like the preworn leading edge on the 21's and the sole is a bit wider to my eye. In reality there won't be much difference on the course most likely but I want to give the Rogue pro a go and the preorder is done and will go in at midnight according to my Callaway rep.

To really make it seem crazy I had the apex 21 pro combo when the released and hated them (wrong shafts), then went to the TCB that I loved (correct shafts) but injuries made them harder to play since any miss was pretty severely noticed. So I got the regular 21's to get me though the injuries and I figured something new was coming for 2022 and here we are.

This whole club game doesn't have to make a lot of sense to be enjoyable.

Waiting to hit it. One fitter told me they can’t demo them until Jan. 25. Some of the guys at the store have hit them and are impressed. Strong flight, feel nice, sized slightly larger than Apex Pro. I think there will be plenty of interest in them.
