No surprise...she played Titleist AP2's???...as an Am....I think she also gamed Fourteen wedges as an Am too.

Lydia's so talented .....given time...she could play with a banana attached to the end of a stick.

 

The Pro Concepts look like nice sticks.

 

No surprise that OEM's are being more prudent with endorsements...unless its' a STAR they believe can really help the brand.

Lydia had a good year in 2021...it might be lightening in a bottle.

No point signing her up...if she plays lousy in 2022.

 

A lot of the media are chirping about Lydia now....but IMO....I want to see a good year in 2022 and at least 2 wins to say Lydia's back.

 

Lydia's lack of BIG fire power is a bit of a disadvantage.

If Lydia had great power combined with her short game .....she's be one to watch out for...but the same could be said about Inbee.

I wonder though how much "fire in the belly" Inbee has nowadays.

Really surprises me she plays such lightweight shafts in her irons.  The FCs are the higher launch Steel fibers as well.

A friend that is still looping saw her on the practice green with several different putters yesterday.  Some old, some new.  He said she also had mixed bag of drivers and fw's on the range this week as well.  Embracing the free agent thing for a bag full of stuff she likes, instead of brand loyalty.  I was always a fan of that strategy back before the contracts got so lucrative.

As per a post previously....unless Lydia changed to heavier shafts during the year...in Apr 2021...Lydia was gaming 70 & 80 weight Steelfibers.

Ok...so we know that Lydia was using Steelfiber in her irons in 2021.

BUT

Lydia did use KBS shafts at one time in her irons.

I was incorrect in my statement.  The last tournament I worked was in Sept, covering for a buddy.  I was going off what I saw on TV and was wrong.  Good catch.

You're welcome!  As for the aesthetics of the clubs . . . I am not a fan from the photos on the website, with the sole exception being the musclebacks. 

 

With the website photos its hard to see how big the heads on the irons actually are, nor can one gauge the thickness of the topline looking down.   I do like their modern construction though with multiple metals and the engineering in the clubs.  I hope to demo a set in March - April and should have a much better feel for them.
