Some of that is natural development.  Let's remember that she is only 23.  I remember when she and Brooke started showing up at events as 13 and 14 year olds.  Hell, I've got clubs in my bag older than both of them.  Swing coaches aside, they are both totally different people now than they were even 2 years ago.  Both stronger and more confident in who they are.

This is right on the money. People often forget just how young they actually are and expect the swing/ mental maturity of someone 10 years older. But they are pretty damn close if you ask me...

 

And I think she's 24?

You're correct.  She is 24 now.  My bad. 

 

I spent 30+ years as a tour caddie, with most of it on the LET and LPGA.  Back in the early 2000's, I developed a reputation for being able to handle the young diva attitudes.  Most of them weren't divas, they were just young, confused, and misunderstood.  I tried my best to insulate them from their parents, PR folks, coaches, hangers-on, etc... while we were on the course.  My one rule was that once we cross the rope, it's just me and her.  

 

I never worked for Lydia or Brooke, but was around both of them a lot.  The wide-eyed amazement of the tour fades fast when the burden of stardom starts to set in.  I wouldn't want my kids to have endured that.  I personally saw a lot of talented young golfers decide it wasn't worth it after a few years. 

 

For the most part, they are all just kids.  Even the "Stars of the Game" with the exception of DK, all are in their late teens and early 20's.  By the time they hit their late 20's, most have been on tour for 10+ years and are burned out.

It's a mountain side...cart mandatory course...many don't like it cause it's too gimmicky....but I don't mind it every now and again.

One of the most scenic course one might play....trees, mountains and water.

 

This is the signature par 3 hole and can be seen driving up to Whistler.

The pictures don't do the course any justice.

Here's the opening hole....a downhill par 4.....about a 200 ft drop.

Water left....trees all down the right side with a big creek inside the woods....a fairly narrow fairway....no that's not me.

 

There are so many really steep gully's...a couple of minutes and it's easy to find a dozen+ golf balls....the course is a ball hawkers paradise,

That hole screams for a front bunker/center green miss.  Don't want to go flag chasing in that pin position.  Beautiful hole.

Reminds me of one of my favorite courses “Sanctuary” in Colorado…only way you can play is by charity tournament or invitation, it’s a literal sanctuary with one hell of a story to boot!

Yet I think I've seen each episode of Seinfeld maybe 3-5 times each and Curb Your Enthusiasm is fantastic...Larry David is a comedic genius....and yes I like Cheryl Hines.

It's 205 yards from the tips....I have NEVER gone pin seeking and always bail out to the right of the hole/green.

If the wind is hollowing down the water in the Howe Sound...it's just an EVIL hole.

This hole looks like the #11 par 5 at The Falls in Chilliwack, BC...but I don't think it is cause the conditioning looks too good and the trees running down the right side are taller in real life.

There's an uber exclusive club called Redtail near London, Ont.

I think the only people who play there are INVITE ONLY from the owner.

I'd agree if she didn't head in the wrong direction for a few years. In 2015 she was averaging 250 yds. By 2017 she was down to 243. Her peers were picking up distance at the same time. That drop had nothing to do with her natural development. It was the result of messing around with her natural swing.

It’s definitely a sweet track to play, but definitely not worth the money. Only reason I’ve been able to play are other people from industry events haha.

 

cheapest event I found was about $3,200 for a foursome. So yeah take your money to nearly any top course and have an experience lol
