That Rogue Black is actually their mid soft design, so it's a pretty friendly shaft actually. Basically the fairway counterpart to the driver shaft.

Do any PXG staffers play the driver? You'd think that'd be the last club someone would pick if they had to chose one PXG club to put in their bag. I'm not interested in explaining this, because I don't exactly know what it means, but this strikes me as a Very Patrick Reed thing to do.

 

The lack of bounce on his wedges gives me the willies, but there's no denying that man is a magician with them.

I still think the irons look cheap... Beautiful design marred by waaaaay too many different fonts, numbers, logo, etc. Kinda like his bag I guess... PXG, TM, Cally, Grindworks, Vokey, Odyssey...

PXG passed it off as a huge singing, at least via name, however they never stated it was for a full bag. Same with article announcing his signing. PXG website shows what clubs their staff are playing. Most only play a few of their clubs and rarely any player is all PXG on the PGA Tour.

According to the PXG website a few play it on the PGA Tour. More players on the LPGA use their driver.

Me too! Didn’t know there was such a thing as a deal for just a Driver and Hat.

 

Sounds kind of ridiculous and no idea why an OEM would bother signing a player to that type of deal.

Are you aware Titleist signs tons of players to ball/glove/shoe only deals that don't play any Titleist clubs? At times a hat deal is also included. Reed was wearing a Titleist hat before his deal with PXG. He's paid to play the Pro-V1. It's simply Marketing 101.

I'd bet it's way more than half. 99%+ easy. Outside of Cam Champ and Miguel Angel Jimenez (both Srixon) what Ping staff players play a non Titleist ball?
