It seems on the fit vs the reviewer.  The high speed guys just dont optimize with 9* and stiff flex.  I saw Alex Etches get 186 mph ball speed when he turned the Stealth Plus to 6*   and it was 166 mph at 8*.    Thats a huge jump.  

 

* Anybody else experience a ball speed increase from changing loft via a sleeve adjustment ?????

At this point I'm only buying a driver if my swing changes or for aesthetics. So for me the hottest driver is the srixon zx cuz IMO it's the best looking one on the market (at least from the address position )

Cobra is top of my to test list when they hit the shelves. TM hype is back firing as the claimed ball speed improvements are pure hype. Will demo the Callaway fairways.

Otherwise Cobra has done well, but for my game I want to try the Rogue as it appears to have very consistent spin and speed.

Epic speed triple diamond is the king of speed currently.  It was much quicker 3 mph on average BS for me vs sim 2 max - until it cracked.    The stealth tested same as Sim2 max.    I got more from sim 1 than stealth or sim 2.    And truthfully the m6 was fastest ….. but different shaft.   The other 3 I tested with the same exact shaft.  Not even a clone. The same shaft in tm heads snd the callaway head.

TaylorMade will get the most sales as the hype is real for some but not for everyone. You either Love 'em or Hate'em. They have worked for me.  Callaway will be 2nd as they seemed to have a large cult like following as does TM. They seem to be the most consistent in numbers. Just don't like the flat pancake shape but the LS and triple diamond are the bomb. Then Cobra has made some major leaps and bounds as they should get more love. People will be put off because of the transformer like colors but they are the best driver for the money. I would love to see some big name Pro's switching over to Cobra as I'm sure the sale would probably double, sad but true. PING and Titleist has their hands full in trying to top what came out for this year. They're really is not one any better than there other as they have pretty much max'ed them out in performance. It will also depends on who comes out with the best shaft options in what people like.

Seems like the TM has the most buzz but from the honest online reviews I watch and read, it sounds like if you have the newest 3-4 versions, you won't see a noticeable difference. Now the guys that got them free and are paid to pitch them are claiming the greatest thing ever. Realistically, if you are getting significant differences, you were playing something that was ill fitting one way or another. Any current (last 3-5 years) won't see more than a 5-10 yard improvement unless you are just purely playing the wrong loft or shaft I think.

I purchased the Rogue ST LS. This thing is like a sniper rifle as it's both long, and sneaky quite. In comparison to all other drivers, the LS leans toward persimmon vs. titanium.

all of these clubs demos should available to test now.

Go back and look for say the last five years. Every year early buzz is Cobra by the middle of summer its dead. In the end it'll be TM with their major marketing.

Looks like cobra litdixels is the hottest but also the worst for dispersion...which makes perfect sense.

 

All the others appear to be within strike location margin for discrepancy...

I'm committed to buying a new one this season but am waiting for this release and the TE C722 to drop.  It does seem like a really odd choice on the part of Mizuno to release info and pre-orders but apparently still embargo reviews.

Did you know if they have the same face as the STG? I was under the assumption they slightly tweaked the face on the G compared to previous Z and X models 

I’m also wishing more reviews would come out but rightfully so, it seems all the marketing is geared towards their new irons

Honestly the cor is maxed tm comes out with the latest and greatest every year same debate each year, the fact is drivers are maxed out.  I love the tsi2 but can’t say it is longer or shorter but it works the best for me.  tm spends the most on marketing every year so naturally gains the most hype, the mizzy line is just as good but they spend very little in marketing.  
 

same holds true in putters i love the guy who has the Scotty circle t and thinks he is a pga player but can’t putt worth a damn.  

I also enjoy the beginning of the season when the same guy takes out his stealth sim max 2 aerospace driver and rips a hosel rocket and the houses nearly killing his playing partner and can’t figure out why this happened!   Btw already a couple Stealth drivers on the bst.   Comedy at it finest….

 

but truth be told I love all the new stuff as why we are all die hard wrxers.
