Regarding his strokes gained approach the

sample size is not big enough for this season to really worry about yet, and I disagree about him being a horrible iron player, also backed up stats from previous years in this strokes gained category

His driving distance is slight above tour average

His driving accuracy is horrid (Has been for years)

 

He's a bad player out of the rough (on approach) relative to his peers

 

Not a good combo.   He'll have to putt and chip like a demon to pick up wins.

LOL! .......Faldo and crew just said Schenk hit just three fairways for the day and he's leading the tournament. Tell me again how the game of golf should be changed, the golf ball rolled back, club reduced, etc....before they grow some rough and look at the setup first.

I used to do that in little league.  When I would let up a goal in soccer I would go down with an injury.

Rahm is clearly IMO the best putter on the PGATOUR. Just wish the analyst would stop all that unnecessary chatter and give me a closeup analysis of his putting technique, routine, grip, etc.......is that asking too much !?!

 

I keep askin' but apparently, they're not on Golfwrx.......LOL!

A lot of golfers that don't have an "obsession with speed" experience wrist injuries. I don't think a single wrist injury over a couple of weeks is something that people can hang their hat on as a reason that whatever he is doing "doesn't work". If this injury lingers for the next six months or is recurring over the next few years, then it might be worthy of implying that his speed training has caused something more significant than just playing golf would do.

His balls to the walls speed workouts are posted on YouTube. Dude is nuts swinging with wreckless abandon for like 5 hour max sessions. Also his workouts are heavy and wreckless as well.

Bryson might have found his body’s breaking point. He’s already found my mental annoyance breaking point but that was a couple years ago. 
 

rickie swinging 70% and hitting 174 ball speed? He’s like 5’6”. That’s crazy

Just watched BAD's second into 13.  clearly protecting the back on the finish and his shaking his hand.  He's -1 and barring a miracle gonna miss the cut. If he's truly that injured he should just walk off now and focus on getting healthy.  Nothing good comes from trying to play through that kind of stuff.

I heard on the broadcast that he was at the hospital last night, stomach bug maybe.
