Large(r) Musclebacks

What are some muscleback/blade irons you would say are "larger" in headsize (heel to toe)?

I've been playing with Mizuno's MX/JPX line and looking to convert to playing MB's (sorry, not looking for composite MB with added plates, etc, blah blah blah - pure MB here).

I was researching and found that the older Titleist 690.(dot)MB are a tad longer in heel toe.  I did find a set and sure enough it is almost the same size as my Mizuno JPX 850 Forged.  The face/hitting area of both are actually identically the size..just that the 690.MB heel to toe is just a tad shorter.

The Srixon ZX7s (cavity) are longish heel to to toe so the Z-Forged (blades) may be the same.

Mizuno MP5 or Epon AF Tour (mki). Found both of these relatively easy to hit.

I was just going to vote for the Srixon Z-Forged as well. They're just what the OP is asking for.

Crossfield did a nice blades video about 2 months ago comparing the 620, Apex, Z-Forged and MP20 blades. He noted the MP20 and Z-Forged has a slightly larger face on them.

I always thought that the MP33s were a little on the big side for a blade.

You want the Wilson Staff Model Blades.

As someone who recently switched from MP33s to Staff Model Blades, I can confirm they are both a little larger than some others out there. And both are fantastic.

I love my 33‘s and take them out once in a while for a round or a range session. They’re a little bigger for an MB, but they’re not easy to hit or very forgiving.

I would disagree with the mp33's not being easy to hit (as far as blades go).  They've been the easiest to hit blade I've ever played, including the new'ish MP20 mb's (which I also own).

Sub70 639 MB Plus if you're happy going with a DTC option. Though they appear to be out of stock at the moment

The Haywood MB's aren't tiny, but not huge.

I have to say... im starting to think blades that are from 2008 and up are just very hittable and forgiving. If your worried about sting just throw on some wynn grips.

I think you can go a bit farther back than 2008.  As you get into the 90s and farther back, you increasingly have to pick your spots, but they're there.

I play the Apex MB from 2018 in the scoring irons and find them a good size. Small but not razor thin top lines. In fact I could barely tell any difference than the 2016 Apex Pros. But I don’t play them in long irons.

A little older now but the MP5 was maybe the largest MB I’d seen in a while and since.

Sub 70 has a 639 MB Plus, which is supposed to be slightly larger and with a bit more offset.

Going back in time, the various models of the Hogan Apex always seemed a little longer heel to toe to me.  As were the 1999 Aussie Blades.
