I believe Lee Westwood uses two Ping i210 U wedges similarly - one is his gap wedge bent to 49.5* (from 50*) and the other is is sand wedge, bent to 53* (from 50*).  Personally, I love my i210 U (gap) wedge and have considered copying this setup.

Yes, I need this. If I could find a way to do it and get someone to grind a little of the bounce off the 53, I’d do it in a heart beat.

The old Ping Eye 2s had the same club head 1 iron through to Lob Wedge.

What is interesting is specialty wedges were introduced by Bob Vokey and Roger Cleveland.

 

This has now come full circle with Roger building the matching Sand Wedge for Dylan.

 

Matching cavity back sets probably make the most sense for the average club golfer.
