Back to iblades after playing blueprints and i210s for a bit last year. 
 

I think the iblades are the best ping iron in years.

I couldn’t agree more!  I am actually thinking about going back to them, best ball striking I had was with those!

Funny how the iBlade just keeps on rocking in these Tour bags, the new i525 does look really good also.

 

Interesting how Draw biased his driver is, Max head in the draw setting. Would love to see a few tracers from him this week.

Could also be that his most common miss with driver is low heel and they’re just trying to retain ballspeed with the movable CG

I wonder what the i525 lofts are? Looks like he has an i525 3i and 4i as well as a 4i iBlade. Perhaps the i525 are his 2i and 3i?

Based on the threads here I thought I was the only one who didn’t like the i59, thought it felt harsh and clanky on center strikes. Didn’t feel nearly as smooth to me as the iblade.

He also is one of the longest drivers out on tour, and I would assume likes to play big power draws.

My findings exactly, also looks boxy and pretty ugly at address and the shorter bottom groove just makes the head look tiny. Also mad expensive.

PING can't seem to get their tour staff into their wedges lately.

For the 525, how do they make a nice clear looking iron and then decide it needs a little cut out area with some lines on it and think it makes it look better?

I don't play the I blades but I play the s55 best irons I have played hands down.

Between that and the notch in the hosel it appears they are trying to remove weight from the heel of the club and move it out toward the toe. Don't think it was done just for looks.

Oh actually? That’s pretty cool, I have heard of some people using draw biased drivers because the want to play a cut. Apparently it forces them to really cover and slice it. 🤷‍♂️
 

Doesn’t matter for me how I swing or where the weight is, I’ll never know where the ball’s going. 😂

From what I can see those i525’s have a lot of grooves, like more than my 7 does. I guess they’re going along with i59 for “more spin “

These have the hidden hosel weight as well...think it's more of keeping the weighting even toe / hosel = increase in MOI

I'm on my 4th set of iblades after doing the same thing you mentioned. Curious to try the i59's or something to replace them as they are getting pretty worn.

I agree with this.  So soft.  But I think that's what turns the Pros away.  They want the crisp s55's.  

 

iBlades are the cats meow.  I have both s55's and iBlades and I can cut/draw the iBlades with ease but the s55's are draw only.  Its weird.  Both blue dot too.  

 

i500 is hollow design so needed to be 2*-3* weaker to match iBlades in a combo set.

I noticed that the i59's are much shorter heel to toe than the iblades. I really to enjoy the iblades.
