Callaway Epic Forged vs PXG 0211 DC

I'm kind of bored with my current irons and thinking about getting a set of these 0211's.

 

Anyone have experience with both of these irons?  The Callaways are a degree stronger I think vs the 0211's and not cast.  I get it.

 

Thanks in advance and talk me into staying with what I already have in the bag.

Dude,I’m looking at your sig with all that premium gear, and TWO Vessel bags?

GTFO with economy class 0211’s. You’re a Gen 4 playah if ever there was one. 😉

I've had both.  Epic Forged stayed with me a lot longer than the 0211's did.  Epic super strong loft, crazy easy to hit.  However, even with the strong lofts, they spin way more than the 0211's.  My Epic 7 iron would check up on the green less than 6 inches from where it landed.  I couldn't keep the 0211 gap wedge from rolling out 3 feet.  YMMV.

 

And, I've got two Vessel cart bags, a Stitch stand bag and a classic Jones carry bag.  I must be a true playah. 🤣

Gen 4 0311P or wait for the Gen 5….or buy the Gen 3 for cheap now. No point in the 0211 except being a nice set of sticks for the price. If you can afford Epic Forged, sell them for the PXG set of your choice. Pretty even swap I’d imagine.

Awesome thanks for the advice!  I guess I'll have to keep the Epic's in my bag another year till something catches my eye.  I forgot to add I have a Jones Trouper carry bag I use when I'm slumming with co-workers. 🤣

Bought my son a Jones Trouper. Sits in the garage since he seems to have no interest in golf now.  Also another Vessel stand bag in the garage that’s my wife’s. So, 3 vessels, 2 jones and a stitch. Damn, I’ve got issues.
