Interesting I don’t think this would be my cup of tee but I like the idea of it.

As I posted in the the other thread. This sounds VERY Nippon Tour130 ish. Stable midsection with rapid taper rate tip. It is interesting that I have read many X100 and DGX7 users say the Tour130 was exactly what they were looking for to maintain stability but hit a trajectory window they wanted. Also the softer tip makes it feel very nice & low vibration at impact.

If it is a DG version it is worth a try. I wonder if DG would be interested in making a 120g version of the shaft. That is where I think this profile would be really really good for a lot more people.

I like the idea of this in a 120, and I also assume they'll make it in a S400 but I don't think we've seen that yet.

I like the 120 or 125 weight idea, not sure about the S400 MID as the design with this shaft seems to be stiff-mid with softer tip. That's a reasonable tweak for the X100 design, it would be the complete opposite direction for S400 which is softer-mid and stiff tip. But I guess maybe it could just be this same shaft design in a "stiff" flex.

S400 is a flex/weight designation not a profile designation. Dynamic Gold is the profile designation, and Gold just means weight sorted. There are just "TT Dynamic" also. Or in this case, the profile is called Dynamic Gold MT. Just like DG AMT S400 is not the same as DG S400.

I get what you're saying, you know your stuff with shafts.  👍  Actually I've been playing Modus 130S for years thanks to you.

Maybe I described it wrong, I was just trying to say they traditionally made the S300 and R300 by softening the mid section and not the tip.

How would these compare to the Elevate Tour?  I know they are a bit heavier, but how about performance differences.

I think it might be similar but heavier. The ET's are 115g while these are 130g. I love the Elevate Tours, so these would be too heavy for me but it is meant to be a true tour option so i get the 130g weight.

Very interesting... I know the 130 is a mid launch, is it also mid spin? or is it considered low spin still?

As always, even with the OEMs labelling and specs, it doesn't always equal what you'll see. I got my sets about a week ago and have been able to spend some time with them. I really enjoy them a lot. I play DG X100 120. The X100 MIDs are a good shaft. I love it in the long irons, but really noticed the difference in the 9, PW and GW. My peak height didn't change compared to the 120 X100, but I gained about 3mph ball speed. I normally don't love 130g, but haven't found myself disliking the weight with these.

What iron heads do you play?

I wonder if True Temper will bring these out in a 120 version. I am waiting on a set of X100 120s for some Miura heads I got. Excited to get them and get them built.

ZX7. Tried them in TCB and 223, but it's going to take a massive move for me to get the ZX7 out of the bag. With a little more time with the X100 Mid they are truly a great shaft. Great feel. I actually did some head to head testing vs X100 130, X100 120 and the X100 Mid. The X100 130 flew the highest with the second most spin, the X100 120 flew the second highest with the most spin and the X100 Mid few the lowest with the least spin. It wasn't a tremendous amount of difference in spin, maybe 300 RPM or so, but peak height was 30+ feet in difference.

Great to hear the differences. I got fitted hitting current heads with my gamer shafts and then with the Miura MB101 and the DG X100 120 was the best of them all. Enough height and giving me plenty of ball speed.
