I was being a bit sarcastic, but why not right? Can’t say I’d be surprised. Super easy to do, and like I said the tennis guys have been doing it for years. Now with them it’s paining an old frame to look like the new model frame of the same company. So a bit less deceptive.

Interesting specs, thanks for posting! These wood lofts are all a bit lower than his usual IIRC, seems like a good indication that either the Stealth line is higher launching on average (due to lower/more rear CG placement) or that the shafts he has in the Driver and 3HL are launching a little higher. Flatter lie angles too.

Agree. Not an apples to apples comparison for what amateurs could learn from the pros. Too many factors to consider based on everyones swing type when it comes to loft. DJ has a crazy strong bow with his left wrist at the top and all the way through impact and follow through. He also releases the club late. I’d imagine a lower lofted club would be low flighted left hook knuckle balls for his mishits. Adding additional loft for him gives him a bit more leeway in forgiveness and optimizes his strike consistency.
 

I myself swing low 100s mph, but use and have always been fitted last several years in a 9 degree head to reduce spin and high flight with my early release. Anything higher in loft, I’m hitting high right moon balls.

wow those are some seriously upright lie angles on the irons. Guess the club always has looked kinda short in his hands, still though you wouldn't think they'd be this upright.. not like he has high hands at impact

he's 6'4" and I think he uses standard length so that would explain it.

Heck! DJ might have even been one of the ppl a few weeks back that created accounts here just to say that they tried the Stealth and gained 8mph ball speed with the exact same club head speed!! 🤣🤪

Probably for the best. You’re quite a bit taller than average and you can still buy your clothes off the rack! 😉 At 6’4” barefoot, if I was any taller all my pants would have be custom only. That would be a pain. 😩

Exactly.  I’m mostly legs.  ( 35 inch inseam ) worth a normalish torso.  So I don’t have to go “ big and tall “. Then a pretty big wing span.  And big neck.  So I’m in like a 163/4 inch collar and a 35 sleeve. On a fitted shirt.

Sounds pretty familiar. 36” inseam, 37 collar, 36/37 sleeve here.

The lofts spacing on the short irons is interesting… 44, 47, 53, 58… I thought he was normally 44, 48, 52 at 54, 60. The latter being more logical gapping.

There was a high ct version of the SIM2 hybrids out there. I grabbed a 17* one from Will People’s to play in place of a fairway wood and the ball speeds are indeed ridiculous off of it.

That's due to the wrist bowing that effectively takes loft off of the club at impact.  Get fit, don't compare to other golfers.
