Johnston & Murphy golf shoes?

I’ve had many J&M dress shoes before but has anyone tried their golf shoes? Catalog looks nice but before I buy I’d like to hear reviews from others.

I personally don't have any, but several guys I play with do and they swear by them. Pretty much the only shoes they wear on the course anymore.

I have a pair and they are very good! Comfortable and good traction!

I’ve wanted a pair of these for a while, as they look really sharp and comfortable. I tried some on in a store, though, and they are too narrow for me. I have a wide foot and high arch, so not everything fits me. For reference, Ecco generally does fit me well. 
 

If they come out with a wide version (maybe they have already), I may have to give the J&M a try.

I tried them on in a store, happened to be walking by and I'm always searching for the perfect golf shoe.  They have double insoles, so you can remove one to fit a slightly larger/wider foot.

 

Seems nice, a bit of a niche product.

they are REALLY good.  New styles coming out in 2022 are very nice.

Well I have a wide foot and high arch also, so they’re not gonna work for me. It seems like FJ are the only ones making wider fit shoes now….

Try New Balance, seriously.  Great shoes and their wides are readily available and quite wide.

Ecco are perfect for me. It’s almost like they designed them around my foot. 
 

BUT, thanks for the NB suggestion. I’ll have to keep that in mind (though I did just buy a pair of really expensive Eccos lol).

Been really wanting to try the J&M golf shoes.  I have a pair of the XC4's that I wear to work about 25% of the time and they are incredibly comfortable.  Was in Dillards the other day and that was the first time I had seen the golf shoes in person and thought they looked great.  I think I may have to go back and at least try them on to satisfy my curiosity.

I've sworn by Ecco's for years but recently tried the XC4. They're very stable, comfortable, and extremely waterproof but tend to scuff up the greens a little when I lean down to mark the ball.
