How is your bag built?

C. Titleist/Callaway/Ping

I like either the Titleist or Ping FW and hybrids the best as the flat lie angle is important to me. Last year I tried a Titleist driver for the 1st time (long time Taylormade driver user) and it works so the whole top end of my bag is Titleist (Driver, 3W, 19* hybrid and 4i w/ a 23* and 27* hybrids for certain situations/conditions).

Irons are Callaway Apex Pros. I'm a high handicapper that wants a certain look but needs the forgiveness. I love these irons, however they are not significantly better than the Maltby TS1s that they replaced.

Wedges. Ping Glide 3.0. I recently replaced my 50* with a Callaway Jaws 50* that has a shaft that matches my irons. I do use my 50* for full and partial shots and the forgiveness of the Ping is something I miss. Considering a shaft swap and putting the Ping 50* back in the bag.

My golf bag is Titleist 🙂 . Their golf balls are to pricey IMO and I find the Snell ball to offer all the performance I need at a fraction of the price.

Driver - PRGR

5W - Titleist

4U - Honma

Irons - Honma

Wedges - Cleveland

Putter- Ping

Category C - Various brands

Irons and hybrid are the same by coincidence. I got fit by Honma, tried their hybrid as a warm-up club. Really liked the feel and look along with the performance (special Vizard required). Everything but the wedges were fit so it just happened to be that way.

Driver - Adams Redline

Fairway wood - Cleveland Launcher

Hybrids - all Adams, 3,4,5

Irons - Hogan Apex Edge Pro, 5-E

Wedges - all Hogan 52, 56, 60

Putter - various, but for now Acushnet Bulls Eye.

My bag is a Founders Club cart bag I got from Amazon. A heavy SOB with all the clubs in it, but since I use a cart when I play it's perfect. Lots of pockets and a slot for every club.

My clubs are a hodgepodge of different brands, all bought off eBay. They work for me, and that's all I care about along with saving a buck.

Two reasons, lighter weight and realizing that 4 and 5 iron, 6 and 7 iron and 8 and 9 iron (each group) had very little distance difference.

I opted for a minimalist set - driver, fairway, hybrid, 6, 8, pw, sw, putter.

All PXG with Cobra 3D putter in a Stitch SL2. Towel doubles as a rain head cover, I no longer lose many balls per round so 6-9 max in the bag lightens the load. Rangefinder, a few tees, ball marked, repair tool.

Love the minimalist set! I’ve been doing it the last 2 seasons. Don’t think I’ll ever go back to a full bag. I’ll play anywhere from 6-10 clubs depending on the day and course.

Always a mix of several different brands.

I'd like to think I'm brand agnostic, but it's not really true. I tend to stick with Mizuno irons, Vokey/Titleist wedges and Bettinardi putters. Each for different reason: Mizuno for nostalgia's sake, Vokeys because they have the grinds I want and they resell for the most so refreshing my wedges after every 100 rounds or so is cheaper, and Bettinardi because they're local to me. In each case, though, they all make stuff that just seems to work well for me.

Long end of my bag is a Titleist fairway wood and utility iron and a Callaway ... well, whatever you want to categorize the Apex UW as. Driver is up in the air for this year, and I'm a GolfWRX-style club ho so I'll probably end up with all of them at some point or another,  but Callaway and Cobra tend to make drivers that work well for me.

Mix of shafts, too. Project X LZs in the irons, and a Fujikura in the UW, a Graphite Design in the fairway wood and TBD but maybe Mitsubishi in the driver.

Titleist Linksmaster bag, which I'd stick with even if I didn't have a Titleist club in the bag.

I'm more brand-loyal on the little things and accessories, though -- Bestgrips grips and Western Birch tees, for example. Becoming a fan of True Linkswear shoes as well but I'm not all-in with them yet.

Driver: Ping G430 LST 9* | Fujikura Ventus TR Blue 6X

3W: Ping G430 Max @14* | Fujikura Speeder NX Blue 70X

7W: Ping G430 Max @20* | Graphite Design Tour AD DI 8X (or sometimes G430 3H with Tour 2.0 Chrome 85S)

4 Utility: Ping iCrossover @23.5* | Graphite Design Tour AD DI 95X (or sometimes G430 5H at 25* with Tour 2.0 Chrome 85S)

Irons: Ping i230 5-UW | Fujikura AXIOM 105X

Wedges: Callaway Jaws Raw 54/12W@55/13W, 60/12X | Nippon Modus 125 Wedge

Putter: Bettinardi 2024 BB1 Wide

i have 4 brands, Titleist, Ping, Edel, YES!

My bag does have a pretty patriotic theme...red white and blue Sun Mountain Stand bag, Texas Flag driver head cover, Texas Zavala Flag head cover for 3 wood from Best Grips, Red/white/Blue head cover from Best Grips for 5 wood and an Shamrock/Irish theme custom headcover for my 7 wood, and a "Come and Take it" head cover for  my putter, also from Best Grips.

My bag practically sings 'The stars at night, are big and bright...DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS!"

I may not be a very good golfer, but dog gone it, I will look good.

C currently.

Titleist: Driver, 3W, Hybrid, 4 Iron, SW, LW

Ping: 5-GW

Callaway: Odyssey Putter

I'm intending on keeping this setup for a bit this year but I'm a golf junky and it probably won't last long.

I go "A" including bag with Titleist or Ping periodically and sometimes "B" with Mizuno irons. I just really love golf gear.

I don't like to change and I've never really seen a benefit from doing so (maybe that should be in the unpopular equipment thread?lol)

The good news for me is that they all make really good equipment, save for those pesky TM woods that kept breaking/caving in when I did actually wander a bit a couple years ago.

You can go with 5 brands or 1 and still find stuff that fits and works. It really is a great tome to be a golf consumer.

Mixed bag of what works best.

I enjoy building and testing equipment from various manufacturers but only change when I find something that is a noticeable improvement.  I tend to gravitate toward TM woods, Titleist hybrids, Mizuno/Titleist irons, Vokey/Cleveland wedges, Scotty putters, and Mitsubishi graphite shafts.  Last season, I switched from Mizuno MP-4 to MP-53 irons since I was too busy with grad school to practice and wanted some extra forgiveness. I actually may stick with them this season since they are pretty easy to hit.

My big decision at the moment is do I want to order a tour issue SIM 2 driver head off eBay or custom order a Stealth plus from TaylorMade?

I’m leaning toward a all Mizuno bag this year.
ST-g 220 driver.

CLK 2 hybrid set to 15.

3-pw 225s (inbound) MP20/5 combo in the bag.

3 T22 wedges.

Taylormade or Bettinardi putter.

Mizuno RB Tour X ball.

Sun Mountain C-130 With a Mizuno patch😉

Mizuno just really makes some solid equipment top to bottom! Waiting to see what they come out with the year for putters.
