Low lofted Driving/1 Iron

In the market for a great Driving Iron/1 Iron Ideally in the 14-16* range. My Driver swing speed is about 120 14 handicap.

Lee Trevino. Not even God can hit a 1 iron. Maybe as a 14 cap it’s not the best option?  I mean to each his own. But have realistic expectations.

I actually Don’t have issues hitting a iron, it’s the short game I need to work on

PXG does a 1, and the GAPR Lo will get down to <16 degrees.  And, of course, the Lynx Stinger has a 12! Degree option, lol!

I wasn’t aware of the Lynx stinger, is it driving iron?

Suggesting old school Ping Eye2, Zing. Got a Wilson FG53 that's really fun to hit bullets with.

Few of them out there. Mizuno fli hi has a 16 degree 2 iron.

It’s 2022, don’t buy a Lynx. Actually, the year doesn’t even matter with that advice. Titlesit U505 comes in 16°, Mizuno has a low lofted as well.

What’s the lowest lofted mizuno?

You could go Sub70 699 Pro and have them bend 1 strong to get to 16. It's awesome and just a touch over $100.

I have a MP-18 Fli-Hi 2-iron, its 16.5*.  It goes into the bag during winter when we get a lot of wind, and the cold/dry fairways get hard.  Prior generations (MP-H4, MP-H5) had good reviews as well.  I think the current model (Mizuno Pro Fli-Hi) comes in a 16.5* 2-iron as well.

While I would generally agree, you gotta admit, a 12 degree iron is pretty intriguing!
