same for the whole ASEAN area.

i lived and worked in Japan, and i still working with them, as China, Indonesia, Thailand etc, etc…

it’s just about the budget you want to spend and the aura of the brand, nothing less, nothing more.

Weren't Fourteen forged at Endo at some point?  Am I making that up or was there just a change in manufacturing facility that I'm unaware of?

I don't know how many, but apparently yes. If you search TSG blog you can find couple posts in the past mentioning they're forged by Endo.

Didn’t end up going to the range that day unfortunately and have been on business travel. Will test when I get back in town.

So I brought the 7i to the range but then the range balls were so crappy and didn’t have a grass area that I decided to forgive it for that day/range. Going to a range prior to a round Saturday am. Really excited and will report back.

Ian from TXG has gone full set. There was another review posted to their channel. Either great clubs, or a very well paid promotion 😄

Any other thoughts on these ? Pretty appealing but steep in $ if not able to demo or get proper fit for. Wonder if they will sell the heads only?

So I finally got a couple hits on the 7i and man it felt good. Hit one slightly high on the face and then flushed the next one. The club feels slightly lighter than my Miura’s but still relatively stout; X100’s in both. My 7i is at 32* loft for the set since I had the majority of the clubs weakened by 1-2* loft to have 4 degree gaps starting at 20. Unfortunately I was resigned to use mats at the range since it was soggy out, so no turf interaction feedback for me just yet.

These look remarkable, but I would be hard pressed to purchase these for that amount of money without being able to hit them. Ive talked to several fitters and they didn't even know what they were much less going to have them available to hit.

Apparently you have no idea how clubs are made 😆 because that's exactly what happens. Block of metal just goes through different forging dies until it looks like a club. Final grinding/polishing is done by workers. Just go on youtube and search how forged clubs are made, or keep believing that your clubs have magic fairy dust sprinkled on them while they were made.

 

What you said it true, forging process in China is similar to that of Japan.  However, changes between China to Japan, are about, volume, price and forging details.

 

Miura blade forging is darn near perfect, price reflects that.  Last, I knew, they were not done in China.  What makes one blade better than another, materials and forging steps. 

 

All depends on the OEM, club model and demand.  I suspect my Titleist 620 MBs may be forged somewhere other than China, but don't know that for a fact.  Lots of conjecture floating around.

My RM Forged Blades arrived last week. They look so good! The minimal graphics and milling on these look absolutely killer to my eyes. Plus, they appear to have just enough offset in the 4-7 irons to look less daunting to hit. Eyeballing it, I would say their offset is similar to MP20 MB. I’m testing shafts to decide what to put in these heads. My hand issues could benefit from SteelFiber 115FC graphite which test great but my love and familiarity with Modus 120 is causing me to be hesitant.
