sorry if late to the party, but can someone explain me why rory has a px 7.0 in his normal irons and 6.5 in his wedges. normaly the wedge shafts are a bit heavier and stiffer then the iron shaft.

Probably wanted similar feel but less stiffness and was willing to play a slightly lighter shaft to get that.

I have seen a few guys go 7.0 in irons then 6.5 wedges, or 6.5 irons and 6.0 wedges. 

 

Frankly I think TT should consider making a 130-gram PX wedge shaft. Keep the same design/feel/profile as PX, just have it be a touch softer overall. I'm surprised more PX tour players haven't asked for it.

Dynamic gold guys x100 irons , s400 wedges ; slightly softer flex and little heavier shaft for feel and spin around the greens in the wedges

His driver specs used to be 59.5 lie ; he still at that or go flatter ?  I know his heads are measured heads but he’s more toward the flatter side on the Adjustment sleeve (that means nothing if the head from the start is Uber upright )
