Mitsubishi Kai'li Blue - Info and Release Date

Currently have the ZF in my 3 metal and I'm struggling with the lefts more so these days even on good swings.  However, I love the way it feels coming off the face.  see that the Kai'li Blue is high kick point and 2.6 torque.  I think I will give it a go.  The ZF is mid/high kick with 2.9 torque.  Perhaps the lower torque value and higher kick point will help mitigate some of my issues.

70x at 74g...that's light for a 3w.

 

TR 7x is working beautifully now that I added some lead tape to the head. Oh well. Guess no shaft play for me.

ZF goes left really easily in all my experiences. Had it in driver for a bit and I quickly got out of it. 

 

Have you tried the Tensei CK Pro Blue? Also what weight you in? Heavier could be better for your load and tempo.

Yes, I've tested the CK Pro Blue, BF, and RF and had the TB.  All went left for me.  All were 80X-TX, tipped 1-1.5 inches.

I remember you posting that you have the Kai'li Blue in your driver and 3 metal.  How much do you recommend I tip 3 metal?  My ss is 118 with driver with an aggressive transition.

If you had to line up all our blues in a chart, Kai'li Blue would be the lowest-launching and lowest-spinning of the three, but still categorized as mid-mid.

 

KB carries the torque values of Kai'li White but accomplishes higher launch and higher spin. It also uses the same Super Low Resin Content Prepreg that KW used to accomplish that really smooth feel.

 

Diamana TB is our classic blueboard. Always smooth, always consistent.

 

TENSEI AV Raw Blue will feel a bit more linear and is more tech-focused. Would fall in between Kai'li Blue and Diamana TB as far as launch and spin. Diamana TB would launch highest of the three.

Same here.  ZF has been in my bag for 3 metal for over a year now which is a really long time for me the top end of the bag.  I'm hoping the KB will help mitigate some of the left issues.  If not, there's the TPB 1K next year, hehe.

The Stealth Plus comes with the Kai'li White in X flex, not TX as that's aftermarket.  Titleist may do the same thing with the TSr only offering Kai'li Blue X and not TX.

I came across this listing on ebay awhile back for those of you who are interested.  It's a 70TX Kai'li Blue proto.  I would've already picked one up but I'm looking for the 80TX so I'm waiting patiently until the retail version is released.

Thanks! I guess trying it out in driver first. Going to be interesting against the PD 80X. Maybe find a bit more speed! Excited!
