Regular setup:

M6 10.5 degree driver,

M6 5, 7 & 9 fairway woods all with Atmos 5R shafts.

2021 T300 Irons, 5-P with AMT Red regular shafts.

50-10  Cleveland RTX zipcore,  DG Spinner shaft.

54-10 RTX Zipcore raw, DG Spinner shaft

58- 10 S grind Vokey SM7 BV wedge flex shaft

Mizuno M Craft 3 putter. 34".

 

One course I play needs a lot of working the ball off the tee, so I'll put the Ping G400  W Alta CG 55 R flex in the bag, it's easier to work than the M6.

Playing the really short tees with my old fart friends (And I'm 62. lol) I'll put the M6 3 wood in the bag in lieu of a driver

Windy days the 9 wood gets pulled, and the T300 4 iron goes back in.

Most importantly, soft spring conditions or courses with softer sand, the 54* RTX gets pulled for a Vokey 54-14 F grind SM6.

There have been recent changes.

43* T300 PW refused to spin much on less than full swings, and it was hard to keep as low as I like either. . Replaced it with a  44* Cleveland CBX Zipcore.  I really wanted another RTX but they don't make them in less than 46* loft. I was pleasantly surprised by the CBX, Much, much better than the Titleist OEM set wedge, and feels great, which I didn't expect..

 

At the other end of the bag, I put a 44" 12* Mizuno STX220 with the Ascent 50 shaft  in the bag for the course where I play on my Tuesday league, which features a number of uphill tee shots. The club is draw biased, but the bias is very minimal. If I try to hit my normal power fade, the ball pushes, but doesn't fade. Just dead straight. This thing may be a couple yards shorter than my other drivers, but it is a fairway finder. I honestly think I have missed but 4 fairways in the last two rounds, and one was because I hit through a dogleg, not trying hard enough to fade it. This may become my regular gamer, because I can take being 10 yards shorter, hitting  from the short grass. I am going to try a couple other shafts I have around in it at the range in an hour...... Just because.

For someone that could go a decade with no changes, this year has been full of them. Was out with a buddy last week, he insisted I try his driver. I made a very poor pass with it and still ended up in the fairway 240 out. Went to Carl's twice to try different shafts and such (my bum wrist started acting up midway through the first fitting because of the STD size grips). Ended up with a new Ping G425  10.5* counterbalanced Alta R shaft, midsized MCC+4 with an extra wrap. If I keep this up I'll be posting a whole new bag in a couple months................
