2022 Walking Bag // WITB HD Pics

Nothing very shiny or clean in this WITB. Haven’t really picked up anything new lately other than this old 90s Ping L8 bag that I found in awesome shape. It’s light, sturdy and the shoulder straps are perfect. I’ve had a few Ping Hoofers over the past 15+ years, but I have to say the L8 is still the best — by a long shot. I forgot how comfortable the velour straps are, the material can take a heavy beating and it’s super light.
 

The clubs are all ones I’ve been using in recent years.  The older model M2 woods just work for me. The Epon irons, I’ve used more than I wanted to because they feel so good. The copper is really wearing away on the more heavily used clubs. Purchased a set of Vokey SM9 raw wedges (52/12F 56/12D 60/08M) to replace the ones I’ve been using for some years. Looking like early April hopefully.

what a find on the bag. Its a shame the r-release last year was the single strap and not the double.

Great setup all around!  Those Epons are gorgeous!  I still carry an L8+ from way back for when I get the urge to walk and carry.  Ping L8 and Hoofer bags from the 90’s and early 2000’s were built to last. I also have my custom Hoofer 2 and my college team J bag from 2003-2004.

Great find with the bag - seriously solid set-up. Like you I prefer the old-style bags, they just last longer and have a better 'feel' to them in my opinion. I've an original L8 that comes out fairly often, always looking out for one with a double strap though.

Great set up, love the Bullseye putter. I’ve got one of the newer PING L8 bags and it is great, but I have started carrying a half set in a PING Moonlite. PING bags are awesome.

I love when I see someone putting with a Bullseye putter.  There is a guy in my golf league that uses one and he is deadly with it.

Fantastic bag!  The Epons and the bullseye are so sweet!  I have my Titleist bullseye in rotation but it's a different model.  Been a while since I saw the stainless one with the fun script on the bottom.
