A poor man's Cameron Smith putter

Gonna sound crazy, but for looks...Evnroll ER1V, short slant neck, black head, black shaft and pick your grip....about 400 bucks out the door.   I know, remember I said gonna sound crazy.  Guess some of this depends on whether or not you want a Cameron.  If it's a Cameron then if popular they may build them eventually into an every man/woman putter that anyone can purchase,, but if it's purely on shape or look.  Check out the Evnroll site, you can build your putt in 2 mintues and see what it will look like.

Anser 4 if you're looking for anything outside of a plumber's neck (full shaft offset).

If you didn't want plumber's neck and more of a flow/slant neck with half offset, you may be able to get a welder to take the plumber's neck off and drill a hole for a new neck then install  one of these -- https://www.golfworks.com/the-golfworks-putter-hosels/p/gw0138/ . May not be a bad project with how cheap some of the ansers are on ebay. But in the end, an anser 2 that has that mod done would probably have the toe hang performance of an anser 4.

amazing how many suggestions are nothing like Cameron's putter

Well, he copied an Anser 4 so something close to that. I know there was a Anser 4 milled made. Can’t remember if they made the Redwood in a short slant neck.

Dude, you want a 009 without it costing a lung and a kidney. The suggestions are valid... Bettinardi BB1F or Scotty Newport 2.5. Both are anser style blades with flow necks. If you want the exact color of cam's then send one of those into a custom shop. If you want $100 cheaper than the two just mentioned then follow @hammergolf ebay links and pick up an anser 1 or 2 with plumber's neck. That's about it for options on a budget. Good luck

But the 2.5 is a flat bumper style so not even close, the Anser 4 linked same thing. The BB1F is the closest off the rack offering with a custom from Lajosi putters being the next best option for the price he asks.

Ok great, I took it as he was looking for a anser with that style neck (flow or slantish). If you're wanting the exact bumpers then custom maybe the only route.

Below is @EddieC suggestion. I made it in 2 mins and total cost is $459. Bumpers look close and Envroll has two really close neck options.

I just did an order from Carbon for a wide-flange Ringo.  Not the same thing, but after a few emails and phone calls to confirm what I wanted, I placed my order on a Sunday afternoon and had it in my hands that same Friday (no finish or stampings).

And they seem to specialize in lower weight heads, many in the 330 gram range like older Scotty's.

Goodwood Golf Co. will make a putter to the exact specs you want and for half the price of the ping PLD putters that came out.  The build quality and communication from David (Goodwood owner and club maker) is exceptional and he will work with you to make the exact putter you are looking for.  Uses primarily carbon steel as well but has stainless options in both newport and newport 2 head shapes which compare to the 009 and other tour heads instead of the newer looking cameron models.

Cameron does not do contracts like most manufacturers. In fact, he pays pennies at the end of the year only if you’ve used one of his for ~90% of the events played during a season. There are some bonuses given for high finishes obviously though. Can’t imagine other manufacturers just handing out checks if you’re not under contract.

So, he has structured it in a way that is more beneficial for players to make money without being locked down. That’s why you see so many.

Scotty works for Titleist just like Vokey. Endorsements don’t come out of either of their pockets. I speak from no experience, but find it difficult to believe

that Titleist isn’t paying touring pros to play putters that begin at $400 and wedges that start at $189 for the equipment buying public.

I went through all the options mentioned and picked up a tp mills.

but if you want to get the closest to his 009?

Lajosi. Cam’s 009 has a “flow jet” Cameron neck which is a flow neck that is vertical and is short. Most flow necks are at an angle.

Lajosi has both a traditional flow neck and also a new-for-this-year “FN22” flow neck that closely resemble’s Cams. Additionally can choose material, site lines etc. I placed an order. here’s the new neck.
