Their are pics on IG the cavity looks more like the 14 Tour Preferred Line as in it has moved out towards the toe.

Very nice.  Will they include a gap wedge for the first time?  That was the difference maker for me in picking up the 223’s

Yessir. I like the more plain look of the current model that’s out, but that’s just me. If the pic is indeed what’s upcoming, it’s a good looking iron regardless.

Couldn't agree more, my iron search probably would have ended 2 years ago as I got fit into the P7MC but went P770 because I just prefer a set wedge

Yes, this is what we want to know. A little friendlier, real CB would be great. Used to be a staple of the TM lineup before the design team of Foam and Hollow took over.

Any updates on leaked pics or inside info on the new P770's? If they're getting a refresh, should all we be expecting is roughly the same look, but with the lighter speed foam so they can move around a little weight and make it a tad more forgiving? Would be nice to see some work done to make them feel/sound a little better. If so... SOLD

The outgoing version of the P7MCs were, in my opinion, the best-looking irons on the market by quite a bit. Hate how what they've done on the toe area looks -- hope there's a performance-related explanation for it.

Yeah they looked good but the long irons were very demanding. As a whole I don't think there was any advantage in playing the MC over a blade.

That would be a good move, the CB shouldn’t be as difficult to hit as the blade, there is no added forgiveness in the current p7mc compared to the blade

This was obviously a mistake by their social media team. Either way, they look nice, but I’m happy with the look of my current P7MCs.

 

I agree with comments here that they could be a touch more forgiving in the 4-5 iron. I’m planning to get a P770 4i to put in the bag and perhaps a 5i if that works out well. However, in the mid to short irons, the MCs are VERY consistent in launch & distance. I’ve found that I hit greens more reliably than with my 790s. I can’t say how they compare to the MBs because I haven’t hit them, but I still get good distance with the MCs on thin or slight toe shots. That said, if you miss significantly on either side, there will be a drop off in distance of 8-12 yards.
