Tiger Woods to win Masters

Saw an espn article that Wood was the most bet golfer to win Masters. I get putting in a what if bet at around 40 to 1, but I feel that he has almost no chance to win. How do you guys feel? 

I did Jon Rahm and Scheffler to win.

I usually like to put in a few long odds bet but I felt that this would be just throwing away money.

Saw the article where Rahm tried to get some advice from Tiger and he basically just said nah. Haha

I really feel like it is Rahm's year to win the Masters if he gets off to a good start.

I put in a "what if" bet with 50:1 odds on him. not much money, and I assume I've thrown it away, but if anyone with 50:1 odds can do it, it's him.

After seeing him play today I was impressed, but I don't think he has what it takes to win it. Definitely think he will make the cut though.

I felt like when he first started playing he was walking with a slight limp and then towards the end he was walking more normal.

I'm recovering from a broken ankle myself, and I'm not surprised at that. My first few swings/holes, my ankle is super stiff, but once I get warmed up it feels fine. Wouldn't be surprised if he's dealing with something similar and it just has to be warmed up.

he was looking very gimpy at the end of the final rounds. almost seemed like he was trying very hard not to let it show that he was struggling.

yeah definitely. I think I'd be in the same boat trying to play 4 rounds in 4 days with practice in between. hopefully he can get back to 100% for a full tournament soon enough.

Would be better if he didn't play so the coverage isn't saturated with him struggling to make the cut.

The odds are fun to look at and consider. 

 

Cameron Young at 30-1 is interesting. He did great at the Dell match play, and played well at the Open last year. I think he has almost the same chance of winning the Master's at Rahm.  

 

Kurt Kitayama at 125-1 is interesting. Recent win and strong showing at the match play. The switch to Bryson's old caddie could be helping.

It's still fun if just to watch Tiger make some 'Tiger shots'  I don't care if he makes the cut or not, I just want to watch him make a crazy up and down or play an amazing shot from the pine straw.
