For crying out loud. Tune in to watch the 2nd round, and they're still covering the PGA. Fire up the NBC Sports app to watch the live stream, and it's also showing the PGA. Is it that difficult to air the LPGA?

So much for being a tough course. Sheesh. Jin Young sure has a knack for bouncing back after a bad tournament/round.

 

I was excited to see The Rocket near the top of the leaderboard after her front 9, but the wheels came off on the back. Still, even par for the week isn't bad.

 

Looks like Brooke spent a little too much time at the Beach after her WD last week. 

 

There's still a handful of players that need to finish their 2nd rounds this morning, but I don't think it's going to affect the cut. Currently at +3.

Nasa rose to the occasion to challenge Jin Young Ko again, just like 2021 CME Tour Championship.  It's uncanny that Nasa often joining Jin Young in pulling away from the field.

 

Nasa had incredible first two rounds, she tied Jin Young with -7 even though she had 7 bogeys, four more than Jin Young.

Looking at the stats, seems Emily Pedersen driving distance is 276 yards..  That's amazing..

Ariya is 264 yards with her 3 wood..

Lol. Then simply put a stationary camera on the par 3 18th so we can watch the groups cycle through. I really don't need to watch a bunch of no-names at TPC Louisiana. The alligator on the 18th hole was the only thing that made it somewhat interesting.

Hye Jin off to a great start. Three under in five holes. It's just a matter of time before she grabs her first win. Of course she's out there with Jin Young, so she'll have to earn it.

The beauty of following lpga (at least for me) is that there’s always someone from the JLPGA that seems to contend lately - Hinako at Chevron, and last week, Nasa this week… Yuka from time to time last year even pre US open win. Just need Ayaka to figure things out a bit more…

 

No I am not Japanese as some of you know, but knowledgeable/ curious / weird enough to be fascinated with the country, language, culture😆

Morgan mentioned that Hinako plays a 6 hybrid. She said that Azahara was the only other player that she knew that carried a 6h. 

 

Leona has a 6h in her bag. Dana Finkelstein has a 6 and 7 hybrid in her bag.

WOW. Yuka is riding a rollercoaster right now.  One round tear the course apart and next round shoot a 76.  Tough to find stable ground and cruise up the leaderboard each week

Alison Lee went to a Thursday night beer bash?  Its been downhill since then...

 

All jokes aside, it is good to see her (generally) playing better.  I watched her and Minjee a lot when they first came out on tour.  Obviously the paths diverged a bit.  Wonder if Alison will ever get a LPGA win?

She just did prior to teeing off the par 3 12th… can’t see the TV tower from where she was it seems. 🤪🎌

edit: she shouldn’t hop! It turned to be a bogey hole despite a good tee shot, poor 3 putt!
