Saw they took the TCB off the website to order. Any rumblings of a new TCB coming out?

Right?! Idk if its a supply chain issue or getting ready to drop new TCBs. I was just about to order a set!

Not that I know of (yet), but given that Apex irons are on a 2 year cycle it wouldn't surprise me to see them get a refresh in '23. It's such a niche product and supply chain issues are such that I guess it doesn't surprise me that its cycle is being wound down at this point.

Nothing at all.

 

The TCB was always a tour offering in limited supply. It probably just ran its course. If anything does come from the TCB it will be in 2023 when the new Apex line is out.

I do think the TCB were a surprise hit. Most golfers I know that play Callaway irons all play the TCB. TCB is not buttery soft but soft enough with the added forgiveness and workability it was a great combo. Interested to see what comes for 2023 if they keep this Tour Limited line running in the Irons.

I had a set in my cart I was about to order a week but didn't, when I finally went to hit "place order" this week it said they were available in 4-5 months so I'm hoping it's just a supply chain issue for now.

Called Callaway customer service about my order I placed online in January and originally expected to arrive this week. I was told that all the tcb heads were purchased by Club Champion like a week or two before my order and aren't expected back in stock until August.

Reach out to @Peoples Golf and talk to Will to see if he has some TCB heads and the shafts you need and have him build you a set and cancel the order with Callaway. I had ordered some TCB's from Callaway back in December and was supposed to have them in January, but because of the PX shafts they said I wasn't going to get them till June. Reached out to Will and he built me a set and I had them by the end of January built exactly to my specs. 

 

And yes...Club Champion sucks!

Put in an order for a combo set of MB21 and TCB irons (4-6) about 3 weeks ago through Callaways site and they got here a couple days ago.  I put it in about a week before they took TCBs off the site for purchasing.  I did not have to wait long for my order...

I was able to get a set of like new TCB’s off CallawayPreowned.  They don’t have them listed on the site, but if you call them up and they have some available they’ll let you place an order over the phone.  Also, this was at the end of march, so they may all be gone by now, but if anyone is still looking this maybe an option.

I can confirm. Club champion is the worst…. Called to order a set of tcb’s… after talking to a rube csr rep that had no idea about golf… left frustrated that they have all the heads but no shafts. Also called Callaway (awesome as always) and they have some decent deals going on the used tcb sets but I would have to reshaft every used set they have… ugh.

Sorry about that. Callaway is hurting for steel iron shafts for stronger players, as is every other OEM.

Yea I chatted with the callaway rep yesterday and nothing in x stiff. Again through they were great to work with and we’re dealing on used sets like crazy 20-30 percent off. I know this is the new world we live in with supply chain issues across the board. Callaway also offered to re shaft used certified clubs for 245 plus re grip with stock grips for 5 dollars a club. Which is pretty solid deal… the shaft I want project x 6.5 is on back order until end of may. Most likely going to have to go this route.

IMO, no. They feel just fine. Not buttery soft, but solid and communicative.

IMO yea, kind of a firmer feel.  Certainly not squishy/butter soft like some others

Yea I can echo a firmer feel for sure.  Not super harsh feeling but considerably firmer than '18 Apex MB, as they should be.  Have a LH set that is probably going to hit BST as I'm going to stick with the MB's most likely.  At least in the 6-PW.

So I have the Forged CB's and they are awesome IMO but don't seem to get the love the Apex TCB's do.  Anyone have thoughts about this?
