What is going on with those putters?? Two that look like they were intentionally dragged behind the cart so he could convince his wife that he needed to spend 5K on the circle T pictured because his other two putters were wrecked.

I asked him which one was the "gamer" and he handed me the 1st TM putter but I shot all three putters just in case

So for guys that say qualify for the event, what’s their deal on equipment? They pay retail for a new circle t? Discount? Compliments of congrats for qualifying? Never knew that but interested to know

Really depends on the player.  Titleist staff player on another tour, someone already using a Cameron.  Stock CT, nothing fancy then they may get one but with the stipulation that if it doesn't go into play (thru the club count on Thursday) they have to give it back.  

 

They aren't getting a GSS, weld neck all stamped up.

 

Lots of different scenarios that come into play as to whether a qualifier gets one or not.

John Murphy just graduated from the University of Louisville last year and has been battling in the mini tours. He’s got an exemption this week because he won the Byron Nelson award in 2020. He probably doesn’t have the same access all these other professionals have. 
 

or he might just like the current set up and not want to tinker haha

he's on staff w/ Titleist and he played in the event this week on a Sponsor's Exemption (he normally plays on the Challenge Tour and came over to the states for the tournament). From when when I talked w him recently, he told me he got hooked up w/ the putters

nah he's playing on a Sponsors Exemption cuz he wrote a letter to the AT&T exec that's responsible for the Pebble Beach Pro-Am and Byron Nelson
