Counterfeit Miura TC-201's on ebay!

Just wanted to warn you about this set on the bay selling for less than $900!!!
It is clear from the font of the TC-201 and iron numbers that these are not genuine!!!
DO NOT BUY!!!!!

apparently the seller got scammed himself from another seller and didn’t know!!!???

Those are clearly fakes just from a quick look at the pics.  The cavity shape is wrong, very sharp edges where authentic ones are more rounded.  Sole looks off as well, leading edge too straight and is missing the leading edge grind.  Fonts are all wrong on the cavity and the numbers on the sole.  Pretty poor knock off if you ask me.

It’s amazing that with all the supply chain issues coming out of china, they can’t keep up with the authentic product manufacturing but they find the time/manpower to make knockoffs.  I guess more profit margin with the fakes. 🤦‍♂️

Yeah, I was noticing the sharp corners on the cavity area, and the Miura font is definitely wrong, the "U" is too wide.  And the numbers on the sole are clearly wrong.

 

I mean, they aren;t a terribly obvious knockoff and it would be easy to mistake it in eBay pictures without close reference.  The pictures on the Miura website do just look a lot higher quality with the smooth edges, I mean this looks like the high quality that it is:

it has happened to me before. I was a golf-newbie and bought fake AP2. Unfortunately, I bought from craigslist and not Ebay so I was not protected at all.

I'd appreciate if you experts could let me know if these 201s look legit.  The seller seems like a great guy but I know what kind of world we live in so I have to be cautious. These aren't on Ebay.  Thanks.
