Tiger New Long Iron/Driving Iron?

Tiger iron lofts are something like 3-PW (23, 26, 29, 33, 37, 41, 45, 49)

 

So he already has 3 wedges in the bag with 49* PW, 56*, 60*

Based on these specs and the Specs of the 790/UDI wouldn't the 3i in that head be around 19*-20*? which is his normal 2i loft (from his Nike VrS Forged days).

 

I know it was reported this is replacing his current TW 3i but I would think it would make more sense to just have the 790 set at normal 2i length and keep the TW 3i in the bag.

Going back to 2015 (when he was obviously faster) he said in a clinic that he really wants the 5w for hitting high, soft shots into par 5's, something the 2i obviously wasn't great at. He'd likely have the 770 bent weak if  it's replacing his 3i.

Bending weak a degree or two would also blend the look a little better by taking some offset out. 
 

more curious if he’s gone to the grey / blacked out stealth. Couldn’t tell but it looked like it.

Firm and fast fairways and Tiger with a driving iron.  Sounds lovely to me.  Get that driver out of his hands as much as possible lol.
