People are so different. I think at $345 it’s in line. It’s a top 3 cali public course and a top 50 USA public access.

and the fact that you can golfnow it for $195 as we speak is even greater. Do a little research and it can be had.

I’m with you, people don’t bat an eye to pay $600 for pebble but don’t think Pasa is worth $345??? At $195 I’d book a flight from STL and fly out to play it!

You can play for $155 next week. Teeoff.com has it for $188 due to aerification with an additional 15% off using code FALLDEAL.  Can't go wrong at that price, even with bumpy greens  Then you could go play Pebble the next day for $600! (which is by no means inexpensive, but I think totally worth it).

Bring enough pocket change so you can drop down the coast and play Pebble Beach after you play Pasatiempo.

I can pay for my flight AND play Pasa for less than playing pebble. I’ve played there 3 times, not a chance I’d pay $600 to play it again.

For your golfing life to be well-lived and complete you only need to play Pebble Beach once.  Followed, of course, with the correct cocktail.

I’ve been having them before and during as well. You mean I’ve been doing it wrong all this time?

There is no time limit on a good cocktail.  I see you have discovered this.  Sometimes it becomes lubrication for the swing.  Sometimes it becomes the salve to comfort you on a bad day on the course...

Not only is it worth it but I’m gonna check it out again the week of thanksgiving.

I'm heading down to the bay area to play a couple times before heading up to Bandon for the week of thanksgiving. Have Pasa locked in for Saturday the 19th, beyond excited.

Remember to look left from the 6th fairway to see Dr. Alister MacKenzie's house.  As I'm sure you know, he also designed Augusta National.

Yes I did know about the house on 6, I will be sure to look. Also playing northwoods on the way up to bandon sunday for another Mackenzie fix and then Cal Club (thursday) and hopefully one of SFGC, Olympic or Lake Merced, just waiting on confirmation on the final round (friday)

I’m pretty sure they just punched but yes that’s a value.

That’s a hell of a lineup.  If you can access SF you’ve done well.

Also heard Merced is not allowing guests yet…

Pasatiempo is worth it at $445.  You don't have to play it daily... just once.   It's a course with an extremely good pedigree.  If you were a jockey would you have passed on a chance to ride Secretariat, Seabiscuit or Man 'O' War?
