What happened to his full bag of Tour Edge clubs that he used to win the PNC championship with his son?

It COULD BE that he has his lofts set where the 50 is his "PW"....especially with how aggressive OEM's have gotten inth e last 30 years with lofts being turned down. a PW in 1960 was 48-50 degrees and now it's 44-46 for most OEM's.

Still, the stock 9I loft on a set of 770s is 41.5*--and accounting for the hotter face I imagine he'd have to have that club bent very weak to have a normal gap from that to a 50* wedge.

understood but a stock loft of 41.5* is almost a tradition (pre 2000's) 7iron.
