Wasn't a fan of the Gen5 irons when I first saw them, but these black ones are sweet.

Honestly got out for the first time yesterday. I came from DG120's i was fit for, had a few rounds in with the elevate tours and absolutely hated them and now in the steel fibers. Even though its only been 9 holes I think there the best shaft I've played. Love the flight and dispersion and I really feel like I can go after it with ease and great feedback. I was looking for a higher flight with no loss in distance and I think I found it.

Wedges will be going back to PXG just cant get along with the elevate tours in them. I mite reorder them one day with different shafts. But I'm thinking my gen5 G wedge and I got a 58 degree hi tow laying around mite do for now. Chipping is the worst part of my game and the GW was really easy to play on chip and pitch shots.

My girlfriend gave me crap about the cost of them since we are looking to move but I said " Now I got sexy irons and a sexy girl friend". seemed to do the trick .........
