Seems as this should be a big story.  Does Jack not control the company that bears (pun intended) his name?

among other shady business practices, the lawsuit outlines how close jack was to taking the saudi money that he publicly lamented in the press last week.

Jack was on with Joe Buck this morning and not a word. No doubt Joe was given the rules in advance of the interview.

It's a complaint, putting the plaintiff in the best light possible, as complaints always do.  Not enough detail yet, i.e., actual agreements that would outline duties and obligations, or at least not provided in the article which is a quick hitter.  When and if those surface there will something to review in context.

 

Like most of these things - it's wait and see.

People can jump to all the conclusions they want to and likely know none of the parties involved or any of the real background.  Saying "lots of truth" doesn't really advance any argument.  The complaint consists mostly of allegations and although quotes from allegedly relevant documents are included, the underlying documents aren't even attached as exhibits. LOL, "where there's smoke there's fire" is for gossips and social media.  

 

All will likely be revealed, just have to . . . . . . . . . wait.

 

The LIV stuff is all for show and no real claims are even stated there which suggests of course the timing of the filing of the complaint, which relates to other issues, was to include the LIV stuff purely for PR purposes.  Those allegations are posturing and pretty obvious and convenient posturing at that.

 

The rest will play itself out.

are you intimately familiar with jack and the people who run the nicklaus company?  if not, we’re free to speculate as much as you are. 

 

complaints and lawsuits don’t materialize out of complete thin air. there’s no telling what’s true, but the fact that he’s being sued over these allegations means that there’s definitely some meat on these bones. 

 

yes, we’ll have to wait and see what comes out in the wash, but this isn’t a look good for old jack. seems like he’s a shady businessman who tried double dipping on his name and it looks an awful lot like he wanted to stuff 100M of oil money in his pockets, despite what he said publicly. 

 

id have LOVED to see the thoughts on LIV golf if dear old jack was spearheading the campaign.

the nicklaus company is going to take the time and spend the money to bring forth a lawsuit that’s not based in truth at all? 

 

for some reason i buy that way less than i buy that jack might have been double dealing and also talking to the saudis.

Well dear old Jack has history setting up NEW tours right, "PGA America" transitions into "PGA Tour" ,,, but Jack can as you suggest start a New tour. Just wait until Jack's lawyers file their inevitable counter-suit against the Nicklaus Companies for misfeasance, malfeasance, nonfeasance and general badness.

 

All of this stuff is just lawyers trying to get some leverage. Truth is often not helpful in that task.

Can't imagine Plaintiff gets a court win vs Jack for anything substantial and actually collect.  Likely this settles out of court with  Jack promising to keep his mouth shut... And then he just keeps doing what he does.
