Software Scoring App Recommendations

When have a trip coming up with 70 golfers with two flights....skins in both flights. We typically have entered these scores into our fancy excel sheet at the end of the round. This manual entry is getting old. Can anyone recommend an app that could easily handle the scores and can be easily used and accessed especially for some of our non tech savvy golfers?

Golf genius is great and becoming the standard at many clubs in my area. 
 

I'm not sure the fee associated with it but if you belong to a club and are close with any of the assistants they may set it up for you. 
 

It requires each golfer to have a handicap but sets up everything else for you. All you have to do is download the app and enter hole scores for each person in the group. Ideally, one person from each group enters scores for the foursome and everything updates in real time.

My preferred option is Unknown Golf (www.unknowngolf.com).  I use it for all my league and group events, as well as buddy trips.  They are a competitor to Golf Genius, and much easier to use.  After frustratingly using Genius for years, I discovered this and switched my groups over.  Our club ended up switching as well and loves it.  They have groups and clubs across the country, and are officially licensed by the USGA.  At any given time at every top golf destination, there are groups using Unknown to power their scoring and leaderboards.  It can do anything you want, from overall event scoring and leaderboards, contest tracking, payouts and even side games.

 

In full disclosure, I became a user of this platform in early 2022 and it has been a game changer.  Because of my passion for the product, I recently became part of the company.  But my comments are from my belief in the product.

Definitely recommend golf genius if you have access to it…very easy to use with live updates.
