My guy Nick Hardy had to take a month off after injuring his wrist. Since he started playing again, lost in a playoff on the KF tour, T35 in Canada, T14 in the US Open and now will be top 10 heading into the weekend at the Travelers. Should have got hurt sooner! 😀

Yeah, those other holes are my problem. If I could have a quad and a double through 15 holes and only be +1 on the day, I'd consider that a win lol...

I think a lot of us would consider that a win!  That’s what truly separates a top tour player and a scratch golfer.  I will say I am rooting for Rory to have 1 more disaster hole today!

I'm new to this forum and still getting the lay of the land. 

Apparently there is an anti-Rickie mood here and he gets mercilessly ripped. Don't know if it's because he's been down the last couple years and still trying to find his game or if it's personal. 

Meanwhile, Rory fans are like drooling fawning Teen Beat fan club girls from the 60s: 

 

"I think Ringo is groovy!"

"I have  a crush on George!" 

"Paul is dreamy!"

"Rory is the bee knees!"

 

Just had to mention that as McIlrory went from a one stroke lead to being 6 back and in 15th place with a snowman and a double in the course of 4 holes. I'd say that this was uncharacteristic of Rory except that in the last 24 months it ain't.

You'll get used to it. I'm new too but its generally decent golf chatter overall. Some anti Rickie stuff is in jest mainly because he's promoted so much and he really hasn't had the results to warrant it. Just read a lot and you'll see how the mood flows and dont be afraid to voice your opinion. I like Rickie, a LOT, and hope he starts having better results. Rory is hot and cold as the form temperature goes. You'll figure it out. Good luck and cheers...

McIlroy is frustrating to watch because his talent is off the charts, but he is not able to fully live up to that potential. That said...McIlroy has been a consistent Top 10 player for a long time. He's currently #2 in the world rankings. Where is Fowler? Falling completely off the map.
