I assume for non-native English speakers, it is more difficult for them to express their true self (e.g. funny, laid back, charm, make jokes etc).

 

If you watch Jin Young Ko or Na Yeon Choi's YouTube videos when they speak Korean, they are extremely funny, laid back and sarcastic.

 

As they are not completely fluent, it is hard to express those nuances so their English interviews are very straightforward.

Minjee either really loves and has good rapport with Ali Whitaker and the LET broadcast team or had a bad experience with American media. Because her interviews in Australia are like night and day compared to those in the US.

 Well I suppose that could be chalked up to familiarity.   I don't know what it is, but she is definitely more bashful or shy when it comes to the LPGA and perhaps it is down to it being a much bigger tour with far more audience reach.

I cannot recall her being on the Today Show myself but  I tend to watch the home broadcaster for what its worth.

yes. InGee was using a Taylormade Stealth during the recent KPMG Women's PGA.
