Tour Titleist TSR2, TSR3 & TSR4 driver & TSR2, TSR2+ & TSR3 3 wood - 2022 Travelers

Interesting update to the TSR2 Fwy by making it closer to the TSR3 model with the weight in the front... although it does look like they still have some sort of weight in the back? Can't tell... 

 

The face on view comparisons seems as if the face got longer, similar to a G425. Curious what they're going after with the TSR2 and how much improvement there is for this TSR series to the TSi.

I'd stick with the TSI 3. Probably not much difference.

I was just thinking during my round yesterday that being able to adjust the weight halfway between the center and toe on my fairway would be great and they've added that to the TSR. I'd be excited to see the performance differences and the new hybrids.

I'm sort of shocked that they didn't seed these before the US Open to have players use it there as driver won't really be used at the British Open due to the winds and course conditions. But then again seeding it so close to a major would also keep players away as they'd rather use the "tried and tested" drivers.

I am just saying how many weight kits do they want to sell the general public? The only years they were compatible were the 917 > to the TS3?? Every new model the weight doesn't have to be changed.

I mean Taylormade redoes everything every year. I'll pay for a $30 weight kit vs. a new kit every year or a new adapter.

With some of the Titleist Tour Staff slow to change to the latest and greatest.  This is a pretty smart design/marketing move keeping similar aesthetics, especially for tv.

Ya wouldn’t mind if they changed it each year if they didn’t charge like $30 for one individual OEM weight…and kits well north of $100.

Its like the new iPhone and your average person. They aren't buying it because its new they are buying it because their phone is old and needs to be replaced. Does the same thing with different insides.

This is WRX, all drivers are $1000 once you get your upgraded shaft so that you can have a back up to your backup's backup shaft that you are pulling out of your prior Gen driver anyways.

Underwhelming. My buddy who's a Titleist Fanboy and always get's the latest gear says he's sticking with his TSI3. Interesting strategy making the new line look so similar to the prior generation.

TSr3 looking veryyyyyy similar to the TSi3. Will need to see reviews before I make any decisions. Will also be waiting for Ping's next gen as well.

Basically the TSr 2+ looks like a deeper face TSr2 or basically if you blended the TSr2 and TSr3? It can be a mini driver that you can hit reasonably well off the deck maybe. I like the sound of this. 

 

Does anyone know what the “R” stands for?

 

I know no one on wrx plays stock shafts 😉but anyone know what the stock offerings will be?

The TSR4 looks amazing
