I’m going to have to give the TSR3 a go. I might even try out the TSR2 in a 7 wood to fill that gap in my bag. Man, I just got new irons and wedges 😂 Wife is already going to figure I’m tempted by these shiny new offerings.

I am just saying how many weight kits do they want to sell the general public? The only years they were compatible were the 917 > to the TS3?? Every new model the weight doesn't have to be changed.

How do you know that the actual weight of the weights hasn't changed? Maybe the shapes change because the actual weights have changed. At the end of the day, it's all about weight repositioning,  so the weights probably change.

... or that the weights (size and/or shape) have changed because they needed to because of the design

any more ball speed you pick up from here on is basically just on you....the heads are maxed out and we're all living in fantasy world thinking the latest and greatest is faster...with that said I'm picking up a new driver based on looks and sound and not expecting anything else.

Of course there has to be more speed in the driver itself.   As Tony Covey writes …he has yet to see any OEM launch or press release say…no speed gains to be find here.  But it’s worth it.

I'm a bit disappointed how similar the new one looks just because I like seeing new things, but I really couldn't hit my TSi3 much better so I won't complain. Could hope for slight improvements with a bit less spin and better sound if I wanted anything different, basically what TSi did compared to TS. Will certainly pre order to the driver when able and test it out. Hoping the fairway wood doesn't sit so closed like TSi3 (TS3 didn't do this) and it doesn't go too far. Might lean back toward TM fairway wood if this is the case.

Still unsure if the Titleist's marketing team actually like the name Titleist? Nearly all the racks I've seen show the clubs heel facing forward, so that logo is almost obscured. Yes, they'll generally be in a Titleist display, but why wouldn't it be prominent on the sole (or at least on the weight pad thingy) and not hidden on the toe? They almost look like you could peel the name off and sell 'em on one of the Chinese sites with options for your own logo.

interesting shape change I am noticing on the fairway woods. Looks like increased aerodynamics.

TSR3 fairway internal weight most likely different from TSI3 fairway internal weight - bummers for those with custom weight chips as they can't be recycled into the newer model.  At least greater fitting options with TSR fairway and driver both have 5 weight position tracks.  Curious to see if the hybrids will be similar and potentially use the same new weight chips (smaller volume heads).  Looks like the clones from China will have to start spying more...

I mean Taylormade redoes everything every year. I'll pay for a $30 weight kit vs. a new kit every year or a new adapter.

Ya wouldn’t mind if they changed it each year if they didn’t charge like $30 for one individual OEM weight…and kits well north of $100.

I'd just like Titleist to keep inventory of the weight kits in stock.  Tired of having to go elsewhere and have faith that the aftermarket weight other sites sell is as good as what comes in the driver.

That being said, and despite having finally upgraded from the TS3 to TSi3, I know I'll want to hit these when they come to retail...

Inside tip.  If your happy w your shaft keep it.  Just order the head when it launches and it will save time and aggrevation.  👍🏻

And there’s the rub; who is going to sell just the head on a newly released hot commodity and risk losing their account with Titleist?
