What golf shorts do you like?

I currently wear thick cotton shorts.

I want to buy tactical poly shorts that are lighter, and maybe better organization.

 

What golf shorts do you like?

I like Peter Millar Salem Performance 9 inch inseam.  They are non-iron and look great.  Folks were talking about the Lulu lemon commission shorts and I have a few pairs of those.  They are fine I guess, nothing fancy, but stretchy and comfortable.

 

I am interested in more formal options, like maybe Tommy Bahama, but I do not have any…

Greyson Montauk and Black Quail are my favorites. Johnnie-O are great too. PM are light and well constructed. Lulu are fine but nothing exceptional. Linksoul board walkers are a little more hip with styling and comfortable, they don’t scream golf shorts.

Travis Mathew makes good shorts. One called Beck and there's one more with a slightly different blend that feels great.

I like the Adidas Ultimate.  Love the stay tucked rubber strip that they have at the top inside that keeps your shirt tucked in nicely.

Public Rec Workday Shorts. I think they are the perfect length. They have enough stretch and are breathable.

Higher end - PM and Lulu golf shorts...they're specific golf shorts.  Great water repellant material and crazy comfy. 

Lower end - Old Navy tech shorts.  20 bucks or so and fit great with a shorter inseam.

Bonobos golf shorts and Lululemon has great options. Depends on what you want to spend. Bought a pair of William Murray's but not in love with them.

I've really enjoyed the RLX 9" Classic Twills. Have them in three different colours. One pair is several seasons old, and still look great.

 

My sleeper pick are the amazon basics golf shorts. Incredible value.

I am not stuck on a particular brand, so, I have adidas, Callaway, Nike, Puma, and, Under Armour golf shorts. I will also wear non-golf shorts from Uniqlo, and, board shorts. If you are sticking a bunch of stuff into your pockets, you might want to stay away from shorts with mesh pockets. Mesh pockets help breathability, but, durability might be lacking.

Under Armour Iso Chill Golf Shorts are my pick. I like a shorter short above the knee and the material is great. I have them in every color.

Target's All In Motion golf shorts are great (the regular ones not the cargo ones 🤮). I joke that they are the poor man's lululemons.

 

It's a bonus that they come standard with an 8 in inseam. Even as someone who is 6' 1" I can't get on board with the 10 in inseam shorts a lot of brands are pumping out. I'm not trying to look like I'm wearing capri pants on the course.

Unless there is a demonstrated advantage.

Lululemon Commission Shorts in whatever length you prefer or Rhone Commuter Shorts. They are both very nice style and material shorts. I use both and just got a new navy short from Lululemon this week. I love them. It's all I wear now.

usually Peter Millar, but due to a packing snafu, had to buy a couple pair of the Academy brand (BCG??)  These things fit as good, if not better than the PM and have no logo's....  For $25, they may quickly be replacing the PM's in the basic khaki, navy, black color ways.

I like the Malbon Scooter, but they probably don't have enough pockets for what you're looking for. They are also shorter than most people prefer.

I like these, but the 8" inseam is terrible.

Those 8" inseam look super short.

I'll add another voice to the Adidas Ultimate shorts...

I find the added stretch of material really adds to the comfort, especially for those with an athletic build.
