I'm not saying these things will go crazy high - there's seriously no telling what will take off ... I mean, freakin Bass Pro Shops hats had their moment - but I will say golf-centric is pretty new for this market. Stuff like this, the Macklemore line ... it's moving things in a cool direction I'm personally excited about. Not because it's anything I'm personally interested in but I like that it helps move golf away from the whole "old rich white guy"  stereotype. 

 

And THAT is a thing I'm interested in. 

Without old rich white guys there wouldn’t be any golf.  Or many of the other good things in life for that matter.

 

But go ahead celebrate the expansion of the exploitation of status seeking people by companies selling them tacky stuff they cannot really afford.

Tacky in your opinion. I think footjoy polos that fit people like used tablecloths are tacky. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it. Pretty simple.

I'm not a fan of the equipment (black glossed out P790's for instance, etc.) but the clothing is cool and I like the collaborations that some brands are doing. Footjoy with Buscemi and Todd Snyder have been great, Malbon, Metalwood, etc. I really like Macklemore's Bogey Boys - if only I could justify the shipping to Australia and accept the risk of how the clothes will fit.

I grabbed one of each.  Kith had everything available at 2 qty per item but I didnt get greedy and just stuck to 1 of everything.

They didn't have everything.  The only stuff available yesterday were all of the clubs, apparel and balls.  No towel, gloves, golf shoes or any accessory.
