SIM UDI 2iron *as long as it has a shaft combination that launches the ball high enough*, I have played the P790 UDI, Regular P790 3iron lofted 2 degrees strong and the SIM UDI and the SIM beats it out by a considerable margin in both distance and forgiveness.

I think outside of ball speed, spin will get you plus or minus yardage.  The u500 gave me 3 wood like numbers just not quite as much carry.  Really good ball speed but the spin was very low.  Like 24-2500 on a 2i.  I have a current Callaway UT 21* and it holds its own for sure.  Those 2 have very little offset and are more iron like in appearance.  

Have heard nothing but fantastic feedback on the Mizuno Pro.  Might be one of the lowest lofted DI’s on the market?  I think the 2i is at 16* if I’m not mistaken.  That alone with lower launch and spin.

My FLI-HI 3I is 19, may add the 4I as well, or maybe I should see what loft the 5i FH is.  4i is 22 5i is 25

Yep, the adjustability makes it a great package. 
 

TM refreshes the line every year, but I’ve seen zero performance benefits. A new Stealth version just dropped but I saw zero difference in launch, spin, height, distance etc.

This was going to be my suggestion also. I genuinely couldn’t care how it looks when it performs as well as it does. Hzrdus black 6.5 85g hybrid shaft turned mine into an animal. Really upsets people into wind when you put it waaaay past their driver!

UDI ho3 here… have played them all. Taylormade I think suck, personally compared to what’s out there. Their forgiveness doesn’t match up. The Srixon was the absolute best. Might be too high launching for some though. The titleist was similar but the shape was too bubbly, just too rounded I thought. The ping’s felt like a cast ping club so when you hit the others it was so disappointing. The New Level PF version was nice, almost identical to the Srixon. Soft and long. I actually sold my U85 and kept it. Someone mentioned the hot metal mizuno 4 iron, and that sounds brilliant. Those things are long so I could see that club performing very well against other “UDI’s”.

Taylor made Sim is great. Assuming new stealth version is also good. I used a modus GHOST shaft, which is awesome.

Srixon ZX is tough to beat for length plus forgiveness.  Have a UDI which is a touch longer, but a little more demanding.

New Level NLU is the best I’ve ever hit and I’ve swung quite a few.  Srixon, TM, Mizuno, Titleist, PXG and SUB70.

+1 - in firm summer conditions, it routinely matches my 3 wood for length with rollout. Last summer I hit a stinger that carried maybe 200 & rolled out ~80 yards.

 

in my mind it’s not super forgiving, but poor strikes end up rolling out shockingly far.

Would also give a +1 for the Sim UDI. I have it and its a great addition to the bag. Debating trying the u505 just from a pure tinkerer standpoint though.
