Full bag including a putter... putter makes it tough. But here goes...

1. Ping

2. Srixon / Cleveland

5. Titleist

6. Taylormade

This wouldnt be nice... but lets go.

7. Cobra

8. PXG

9. Wilson

Give me some shafts from True Temper and I should be fine (although I love my Fuji / Aldila wood shafts)

Srixon ZX5 LS Driver, Project X Hzrdus Black, 70g 6.5

Cobra Fly Z Fairway, UST Elements Fire, 7F5

Cobra Fly Z Hybrid, Aldila Tour Blue ATX85H 2.3-X

My current bag has only two distinct OEM's represented with Callaway woods/hybrid and Srixon/Cleveland irons/wedges/putter. I could easily go full-bag with either of them.

While it would be hard to give up my Srixon irons I'd probably find something in Callaway's lineup to play.

However, if I committed to Srixon/Cleveland I'd only have to replace three clubs while being able to choose from two different lines.

Toss up.

Paradym TD 10.5/Tensei Blue 65R

TM BRNR Mini 13.5

Callaway Rogue Max D 3 wood

Paradym 4 hybrid

Srixon ZX5 / ZX7 on MMT 125S

Srixon Z785 AW

Cleveland RTX6 54/58

Cleveland Huntington Beach Soft 11S

Collings OM1-ESS

These days most OEMs have great coverage across the bag. If you had to play a full bag 14/14 clubs all from the same manufacturer, how would you rank them in preference?

  1. Mizuno
  2. Titleist (Vokey, Scotty cameron)
  3. Taylormade
  4. Ping
  5. Wilson
  6. Callaway (Odyssey)
  7. Cobra
  8. Srixon (Cleveland)
  9. PXG

Bonus round, 14/14 shafts from same brand:

  1. Fujikura
  2. Mitsubishi
  3. Project X
  4. KBS

Personally playing 14/14 in Mizuno already, and will probably end up 14/14 with Fujikura eventually when they release their new graphite iron offering.

My list would be:

ping

titleist

pxg

mizuno

taylor made

callaway

cobra

srixon

wilson

not really knowledgeable enough to have a shaft list

Ping G425 12* set at the little - with a tour 2.0 65 stiff shaft

Callaway Steelhead III 18* 5W

Callaway Big Bertha Warbird 21* 7W

Ping G30 4-W, U, and S irons

Ping Tour 60* wedge

Ping Karsten Craz-E putter

1. Titleist - I know this isn’t really a criteria, but for me, the ball will kind of always give Titleist the edge, even though I am a Ping die hard.

2. Ping

3. Callaway - Odyssey really gives the

the edge over TM, I think.

4. TaylorMade.

5. Mizuno - The Big 4 have no real weaknesses and neither does Mizuno. The money they put into tour players is probably the only thing holding them back.

6. Cobra - The wedges are the glaring hole right now for Cobra. But if they weren’t so committed to the “Cobra” aesthetic, I think they would be higher for a lot of people.

7. Srixon - Putters from Cleveland right now are just meh. I know their irons are top tier, but how many people are REALLY bagging Srixon woods?

8. PXG - kind of the same story with wedges.

9. Wilson - Same deal with wedges and putters.

Right now I'm using a full set of Callaway clubs so they'd be #1.

After that I'm sure any brand would be fine as long as it was fit to me.

2 Taylor made

3 Ping

4 Titleist

5 Mizuno

Callaway mavrik max 10.5

Callaway mavrik max 3 & 5 wood
Ping g30  26* & 30* hybrids
Ping i200 6 - UW

Ping glide 54* & 60* wedges
Odyssey #7 putter

I currently only have one Titleist club in the bag and it is a Scottie, but there is only are only two manufactures I woukd do this with:

1. Titleist. Every club the make is great, packed full of tech, and looks very traditional.

2. Taylormade. Would make them make me custom irons and wedges. Probably have to putt with a spider.

Other brands there is just too many holes for me. Callaway irons look goofy and round to me at address, Cobra would be ok but I don't particularly like any of their irons, Mizuno is getting better but the woods and putters are the weak spots to me, I have no idea how anyone likes the feel of a Srixon wood, etc.

My bag is Cobra driver, Callaway woods, Srixon irons, Mizuno wedges, and a Scottie. I am a mutt.

I'm lefty and how does Titleist and Taylormade not even get a sniff?

Well this topic is about personal opinion and having to play a single manufacturer. I'm not a fan of TM drivers or irons and middle of the road on their wedges. Titleist would be #4 but they never sent lefty fitting heads for the new T series irons to the shop I used to work at. We had the righty heads since October, but still nothing for lefties. Oh and I have no use for a Scotty.

This is tough because there are only two brands I could play top to bottom because there is something in the other brands that would cause seizures the moment I picked them out of my bag.

1. Mizuno

2. Ping

Shafts:

1. TT family I can probably find something that works across their massive lineup

2. Fuji

3. KBS even though I’ve  never tried their offerings in woods

Titleist has been great for us lefties since the 975D days.

My list would be Titleist #1 and that's about it. There's not another brand I could even imagine a full set with.

Mizuno for me. Only because I was just fitted into the ST-Z 220 and JPX 921 HMPs. I haven't tried their woods or hybrids though, so that may be a determining factor. I did pick up a Mizuno putter at the pro shop the other day and almost left with it. I loved the way it felt and could totally see myself gaming a Mizuno putter if I didn't just buy a custom head cover for my spider 😂

Titleist has to be at the top (most played driver and irons on tour right now) and their scotty line wouldn't be the worst for a putter either. Also think Cally or Taylormade is pretty solid too. Odyssey's are nice and I get along well with a complete bag there with anything else.

In regards to shafts, I feel TT/PX would have to be the move. Not playing anything from them in my woods but don't think I could be without them in my irons / wedges.

I could 100% do a Mizuno full bag, but not sure they make a lefty putter.  As far as shafts, I could do Mitsubishi or Aerotech no problem.  You don't see a lot of Steelfiber shafts in woods, but they are very good.

That's sad that your shop didn't get T100 heads.....I truly was afraid as they have gotten smaller but so glad I tried them ( work p/t @ edwin watts) certainly did mean to infringe on your personal domain...... but also a lefty and really try to keep open my options.....good luck with everything!!

Titleist 14/14 full bag is easy at #1 and what I have been doing for a while now.

TM in second place and is how I built up my daughter’s high school bag.

Callaway I guess for third.

Fujikura would be my shaft choice and powers the top of my bag currently …but life without my Modus 120’s would be bitter indeed 😅

Probably would have to go Titleist at No.1 because of the Vokey/Scotty impact

Then Taylormade a very very close No.2 , Better woods but less so in the short game

They do make the new OMOI putter in lefty, but only the anser shape

I would take it.  I prefer a mallet, but can putt decently with an Anser-style blade.

1. PING - they have a couple of clubs that I just couldn't replace with another OEM (driver/fw/irons). For me they've been the hottest manufacturer over the last 4 yrs.

2. Titleist - You always know what you're going to get . They would be my #1 all time

3. Taylormade - What moved them up in the list is not their woods. Their irons are much improved and their putters are 10x better than they were 6 yrs ago. The Spyder putters are great. Love their custom club options

4. Mizuno - irons are always top notch. Woods have vastly improved recently. Not crazy about their putters tho

5. Callaway - I've never really been a Callaway fan. But they make good woods. Wedges are great. Toulon putters I love. But other than the MB irons - I've never liked a Callaway iron for some reason. they kinda ruined travis Mathew tho. quality is down

6. Cobra - Good woods. Kinda like the 3d printed putters. Irons are Meh. Do they even make wedges? I dunno

7. Srixon - probably the most underrated brand. They can't be top five cuz they don't really have putters and their wedges are Cleveland so......Love the woods - wish they had more adjustability. I play the z star ball.

8 PXG - I really like my 7 wood. But the new stuff is so so for me. their custom fitting options are awesome though. Best packaging in the biz

9. Miura - I just put them on the list cuz I want a set of MB 101's and wedges real bad

Ping and Titleist are the only ones I would be completely okay going full bag on. True quality from top to bottom. I think I'd be making a lot of (probably somewhat subjective) concessions if I tried to do it with any other brand.

Titleist TSR3 - D

Titleist TSR3 - 4W

Titleist T200 - 4i

Titleist T150 - 5-GW

Vokey SM9 - 52º - 56º - 60º

All good. A few guys I worked with had great things to say about the T100 and S. And no store either big box or local has any lefty Titleist to try. But unfortunately I've grown used to getting dumped on.

Vokey is probably my favorite wedge manufacturer purely bc they offer everything in lefty as they do righty. However I don't really play vokeys bc I get better performance out of Ping and Cleveland.
