Vegas private courses - intel needed

Hey all - highly considering a relocation from Scottsdale to Vegas.  Will keep a place here as well as our current country club membership.  Been talking to the membership directors from several private clubs in Vegas - that will dictate where we live.  Will be pretty blunt in describing what we're looking for - hoping Vegas residents and/or those with some detailed knowledge of how this criteria would fit various clubs I'm looking at would be very helpful to us.

 

We're 43, dual income no kids - I play golf 3-4x a week, she is heavily into fitness.  Both into tennis.  Both into wine.  Social scene in our general age group (call it 33-53) is at the very top of the list.  We're moving to Vegas knowing no one like we did moving to Scottsdale, therefore making friends in our general age group is of importance. .  We basically like to hang out, that's our primary hobby outside of what's listed.  Our current friends at our club are in the 55-70 range, so for social interaction outside of golf and club functions it hasn't been great.  Important for me as well is the availability of men's games on Fri/Sat/Sun or the ability to get into games.  Pace of play is high on the list too.

 

That being said, I've talked to the following places and would appreciate intel on them as previously mentioned from first hand experience or deep second hand experience.

 

Red Rock CC - a possibility based on talk with membership director and GM

TPC Summerlin - also a possibility based on talk with membership director 

Anthem - no clue, haven't returned their phone call yet

South Shore - same as Anthem

Dragon Ridge - talked to them, great people but seems like a lot of members and getting tee times maybe an issue, as well as pace of play.

I know little about them, but you may also want to investigate Las Vegas CC and Southern Highlands to see if they meet your needs/wants.

Thanks, Southern Highlands has a 3-ish year waitlist.  I will likely get on the list once we're settled down.  Las Vegas CC I have looked at but not interested in.

I’m a current member at TPC Summerlin and Red Rock. Both are outstanding clubs. The improvements that TPC Summerlin are making are going to be fantastic.
