How’s the baggage situation in Dublin?

Reading all the nightmares in London and Edinburgh. How’s it been in Dublin?

Fine for us. Aer Lingus did the job very well.

That was from Schiphol.

Anyone flown into Dublin with clubs direct from the US lately? I know connections through London are an absolute nightmare when it comes to bags arriving. I know @njlam had guys in his group that didn’t and still don’t have their clubs, but just wanted to see if any other guys have just got back from Ireland. Heading to Ireland in two months and just checking to see if the same issues are happening in Dublin.

I did just did. Clubs came through via Birmingham...a small airport. Still wasn't impressed with Aer Lingus. I did see baggage piled up in Dublin.

Did your clubs make it?

Flew to DUB with connection through BOS last week.  Clubs were waiting for me in the oversized luggage area by the time we made it through customs.  On the way back, flight from DUB to JFK was delayed meaning my clubs did not make it home due to very short layover (less than one hour).  AirTags and Delta bag tracking let me know that the clubs made it on the next flight.  And the Delta baggage agent called me over airport PA to coordinate next-day drop off.  All in all, very pleased with the Delta/DUB experience.  Also, I can't imagine I'll ever travel without AirTags--great tip from so many in here that goes a long way for peace of mind.
