Is he still stack and tilting? He used to have a very descending blow which I would imagine leads to the loft up.

He gave up on the S + T years ago. He is hit an miss lately, might have something to do with raising 5 or 6 kids. Always a fan of his swing though.

Yeah, it seems like many of the players that used stack n’ tilt has good success with it. I wonder why they all left? Seems like most went downhill after moving on.

I tried it for a bit, was really tough on the woods but loved it for irons and wedges. I still like to use the theory for partial wedge shots and knock downs (weight left and 3/4 swing). I don’t think any S&T guys had much success from what I recall.

That’s what I was going to point out. I think most of his success was before he went to S&T. He switched to it and it expedited his decline.

For some reason this guy and his clubs has always been awesome. Just drips talent. Silty smooth swing and unreal putter.

You guys were pointing out his swing and I mentioned his driver above, here's a recent fitting video showing how he swings from July and it still looks S&T-ish.

 

Also his WITB here was taken a few days after this video was posted and he was not playing what he was fit into - supposedly unless the video specs are off. He was also fit into a Tensei "Red" (assuming the old 2016 Tensei CK Pro Red) which is a thing but I've virtually never seen it before and a very rare shaft - so maybe the fitter meant Tensei Orange and is just colorblind?

Interesting video.  Even for a supposed "schlub" based on OWGR the guy is still so pure.  Every shot they showed was maximum a few feet offline.  His swing definitely has some of that old-school S&T in it for sure.  I met Aaron around 20 years ago at the Canadian Open at HGCC when I was a standard bearer for his group.  He was playing MacGregor at the time.  I can't remember if he had those sexy M675 blades (satin with the larger almost driving iron like 3-5) or not.  He shot a ho-hum 68/69 and was kind of down on himself considering he was teeing off at like 7:45am on Saturday so he needed to go really low to have a chance that weekend.  I was only 14 or so at the time but I remember saying "wow great playing today" and he was just genuinely super nice and appreciative I said that to him.  For all I know he internally cringed and was like "wtf, I played like crap!", but outwardly he was very nice.

I've been a fan of his ever since.  I wish we could see more of him on tour.

Thanks for posting this. There is a video from his old Adams days still on Youtube. Just rips a few on the range, the Adams rep gives  him the new head to try and he crushes that and then throws it  in his bag. lol

Not seeing  S + T as much as a really closed stance here.

He mentioned in some interviews that he struggled to adjust when first coming to the US. You never know what people are going through mentally. When he is on form, he is easily one of the best putters in the world.

Baddeley is not the player he once was. He is now in his 40's, ranked #151 on KFT, last in Total Driving. Last win on PGA was 2016. A KFT win would be a serious accomplishment at this stage.
