100% Agreed. Emily K Pedersen is a great example of this, her 2020 LET season was awesome 4wins, a 2nd, a 3rd. She looked ready to conquer the LPGA and LET, neither happened in 2021 or 2022 so far.

Happy to see Hinako's round, but that came out of left field for me.  She missed the cut in, what, 5 of her last 7 outings, including last week's Scottish Open, and 1 of those other 2 was a WD after making the cut on the number at the KPMG?  We'll see what the weather is like for her afternoon round tomorrow.

 

My pick, Madelene Sagstrom, had an "okay" -1, but she also plays in the afternoon in Round 2.  It doesn't look good for Yealimi with her +4 and she starts quite late tomorrow (game 42 of 48). 

 

BTW, I'm just assuming the wind is going to pick up later like it did for Round 1.  Needless to say, that may not actually happen.

Yealimi is toast. I don't want to say "looks" toast because she is never featured on television, can only go based on the scorecard which is always littered with bogeys and her horrendous putting stats.  Looks to be headed home with $0 in the bank from the Europe swing which is a steep decline from her run last year. Many players have turned it around and she's only 21, but the high pedigree of rookies and exports from other tours her age group will stiffen the challenge.  She's likely to drop out of the Rolex top 100 by seasons end.

Can't really argue that point.  I didn't even realize until I looked at tomorrow's times that she was playing with EKP and I'm pretty sure I saw at least 4 or 5 of EKP's shots on the TV broadcast.  Granted, EKP was scoring better than both Yealimi and Jasmine and, of course, someone inevitably talked about EKP's somewhat fiery demeanor when things aren't going well.  Heh.

Nope. I finally managed to pick up one Dish satellite, but of course it has the Golf Channel, and not USA Network. I installed the USA Network app on my Roku, but the coverage is geo-blocked. 'Same with the NBC Sports app. I was able to watch highlights on YouTube. I'll check out the link above. 'Very frustrating.

I don't usually get into this type of conversation, but considering the money is not great on the LET(some girls carry/push their own bags, players who miss the cut will caddy on weekends for friends), you can kind of see why.  It was shocking to me to see how poor a lot of players short games were on the LET.  The ET vs PGAT debate in terms of player quality is laughable imo.  they are so close.  But after the top rungs of the LET, it really drops off.  My guess is the prize money distribution is heavily skewed towards the top players because a lot of players are filling out the field.

 

But I also think that a lot of top European players have trouble with the culture change of the US.  They aren't robots.
