Looks like no-upcharge shafts are a little limited... but have fun!

 

I find it ridiculous that Gen 5 drivers are now at the same exact price as fairway woods and hybrids... but I must admit that Gen 4 0311ST at $129 per is looking really tempting.

I was lurking on their website and saw that, plus some really nice discounts on putters with the free shipping. I did buy two putters that I really don't need. Hopefully, I can smash two more in the "putter closet".

I picked up a 3 months old Battle Ready Bat Attack in like new condition a couple of months back for $180 and felt like I committed robbery. I feel a little better at the current price though.

I agree. The thing I need least would be putters. I have over 40 in a closet that I rarely touch, but new putters for $129 and $149 with free shipping, I couldn't resist. I'm weak and a hopeless equipment ho.

A putter is like a girlfriend. The one I don't have currently looks awesome, it's easy to replace, but you always come back to the ONE.

Thinking HARD about a set of Gen 3 XP irons.  Almost pulled the trigger before, but the stupid $60 shipping killed the buzz.  

 

I want -1/2", soft stepped MMT S shafts, and a medium-high swingweight.  What's my chances?

Looks like free shipping is on everything so this could be your chance. 

I don't think there's a place on order to specify swingweight and softstep shafts though. Perhaps you would have to talk to someone?

Free shipping on everything through Labor Day. If you need customs specs you have to call and speak with a customer service person.

I realize that custom specs are needed.  I was just hoping someone here knew what their agreeableness and ability to get higher swingweight numbers is.

From my experience in talking with them they will try to hit a swing weight depending on the shaft chosen, but they will not guarantee one.

How long did it take to receive the driver, if you ordered?

I have a local tournament next Sat and wondering if I can receive the club sometime next week.

Here in VA I ordered mine on 8/9 and received it yesterday, 8/22.  Maybe your experience will be different.  Good luck!

Got my Gen 5 XF yesterday, man, this thing looks great!!!!!

i bit on the gen5 driver took about 12 days to get it... took it out for a little on course practice and was very disappointed with carry and ball flight but adjusted the loft and magically everything clicked.... carry and ball flight are exactly what i was hoping for ... i hit a nice high 5 yard fade or a dead straight shot when i caught it dead center... actually tried to hook the ball and couldn't really make that happen without a huge overly exaggerated swing.

I also bit on the driver - mainly to compare against my Gen 2 gamer.  Even modified it shipped 3 biz days after my order was placed.  I’ll have it in hand within a week to 10 days and that my friends is amazing turnaround.

I'm glad they stuck to their word. They had that driver on sale for a solid four or five months. I absolutely love mine, and it comes with as much adjustability, if not more, then any other driver out there. However, are people going to consider it at $600 right beside similar offerings from Callaway, TaylorMade and Cobra?? And all of these competitors will have new sticks hitting the shelves within the next month.

Yeah, that is $600 with a stock shaft but it is a nice driver.  I was going to get fitted for one but the weather over the last month here in Nashville was horrible--either monsoon rains or 20 degrees, which precluded me from being able to get the fitting.  I guess I'll hit the PXG outlet to get a driver with the appropriate stiff shaft later this year after my fitting.

 

I am a PXG Fanboy since I have the 0311 Gen 4 P irons and will be looking at a putter/driver/wedges in 2023 much to my wife's dismay.

Ha! I am turning into a PXG fanboy myself after picking up the 0211 irons about 18 months ago. Then a driver, then the brand new Gen 5 driver to replace my old one, and then a new 0211 3-wood. The only brands not PXG in my bag are Tour Exotics (3 hybrid), Wilson (putter) and wedges (Cleveland). You'll enjoy the fitting. As I mentined in my video, the fitter put me into an extra stiff which I never would have imagined. He wanted the low-spin properties of the Tensei White which is a no-charge option. I love the driver (and the 3-wood).
