Scotty Cameron Special Select Jet Set Putters

I saw these this morning. I have heard many wishing Scotty did a black finish in the special select line. I am a big fan of the top line so a Newport may be in my future.

Saw this pop up when I checked my emails from Golf Galaxy this morning. Really hope to pick one of these up on release.

Wish he would have added a short slant neck to this line up as well. Would be very similar to Cam Smith’s putter.

Look nice. I'm typically more of an NP2 fan, but the Newport version here looks pretty slick. Tough to say just from photos, but the Plus profiles look much more appealing than a full squareback. I have liked the idea of that kind of shape but have just never been able to get comfortable with al the additional width.

I have long been a Cameron critic, but really liked the current line.

 

The NP2 here looks very good: the top sight line, the grip. Not a fan of the model stamped on the neck but, otherwise looks great.

Still prefer naked, but love the top line option. Really dislike flange lines being LE Dominant. Don't see myself spending $650, but who knows...

Newport or Newport 2 going into the bag on these. These are perfect gamers and the top line is exactly what I love in a putter. Hopefully I can snag one at retail.

My experience is that they actually sell out before the date listed (8/19) and then they pop up on here and ebay for $1000+

So a Special Select in black for 650....I'm not impressed.

 

I wish he would do some special hosels like a Long Neck or a slant neck for this release.
