Is the G425 $200 better than the G410?

 Agree.  the g425  is better than the 410.  If you really want to save the $200, the G400 is a better option than the G410.

G410 LST was better than G400 for me.

 

I had the G425 LST for about a week. It’s was only slightly more forgiving than my G410

I had the G410 and have the G425. I would say no. Sound and feel - G410 all day.

Same. Had both and the G410 is better feeling, way better sounding.

I love my G410 LST.  strongly recommend if you regularly hit the sweet spot.

Do you hit it and/or does it look $200 better to you? Really is a personal question as you never know until you get your hands on them.

It is not $200 better.... but I agree with the above post about the G400... that's the best buy IMO.

Hit a G400 on a number of occasions on course. Played a 410 for a couple months. Only tested 425 on GC2 on a few separate occasions.

 

425 is the best of the 3 imo but there's not a ton between any of the 3.

I owned the G400 Max for 2 years and it was the best driver I ever owned. So of course I sold it and bought something else. Churned drivers for months before finally landing on the G410 and played it for a year.  I got a great deal on a G425 and played it for a month. Eventually sold it and bought another G400 Max. 

 

My original take was the G400  Max was the best of all three. The G410 was really good. No issues having it in the bag. The G425 was way behind. More than anything it sounded clunky and just didn't seem to have the same performance.

 

I somehow forgot to throw my driver in the Sunday bag I take to the range. The range has tons of demo clubs, so I got a G425 LST to see if I liked it more than my first dalliance.  10.5*, Alta stiff shaft.

To my surprise, I liked it a lot more than the first time around.  I'm still not crazy about the sound, but it didn't annoy me as much as before. It launches lower than the G400 Max. But it's pretty forgiving club.  It's hard to describe, but it doesn't feel like the ball flies off the face as hot, but the distances are comparable. 

 

If the prices were all equal, I'd pick the G425 last.  I couldn't pay $200 more for it.

Another No. Ping out did themselves with the 410. Trackman showed nothing to go to the 425 for me. 20 swings, 10 and 10 same shaft...nothing to show.

Absolutely not. It might also save you more than 200 bucks too because it may avoid you having to go to an ear doctor…

I play the 400 Max, and tested vs the 425 Max at a Ping demo day. The 425 Max was about 2-3 yards longer. Not enough of a difference to consider buying it.

I actually like the 410 better than the 425. I don’t know if it’s the slightly smaller head of the 410 but I like the 410s look at address better, the sound is better and there is no huge difference for me in performance. I know the moi of the 410 is lower but for me personally, I actually found the 410 slightly more forgiving if anything.

I think most Ping fitters, if they were being completely honest, would tell you that the G400 was/is as good or better than either the 410 or the 425.
