The Honma TW757 VX irons have caught my eye, they look great to me.  Any users out there?  Feedback?  Feel, forgiveness, consistency, etc.  Thanks in advance.

had my first 2 range sessions and a round with mine and they are fantastic, soft feel but with some feedback if you miss the sweat spot( not punishing distance loss though). For me the distance is spot on with my P790's and my T200's(both of which are the newest versions and the 790's are going up for sale)but so far seem to have better distance control, 2 things have stood out (A) spin seems very good, I havent been on a machine but results on really hard greens were great, (B) thin shots although feeling a little harsh flew almost identical to solid shots. What I like most is the way they look, for me they are perfect, not too thin or  too thick on the top line or the sole( just the way I would design them for myself), I had a set of Tr21x and although I liked the way they performed overall the sole was just too thick for my liking..To sum it up for me, beautiful to look at, soft feel and good distance with seemingly better distance control than some of my others.  btw my shaft is the KBS TGI 95

Don't have anywhere near me that carries this iron, can someone post a pic at address?  Curious about the offset, I actually like a little bit of offset in my irons and want to see if there's enough there for my eye.

I don't have a Costco membership, would you mind telling me what they're asking for the set?  Looks like 5-P in stiff flex.  Thanks

Just noticed the T757P on the '23 GD Hot List.  Realize this iron may be more what I need than the 757vx.  Is anyone using the 757P or hit them?  Any feedback?  Thanks

Wow.... That's all I've got. People are really sleeping on these. Great looks, great feel, great distance outstanding and consistent spin, thin top line, good forgiveness, I mean what else do you want in a players distance iron. Was playing some Wilson d9 forged and these are head and shoulders better. I just hit my 7 yesterday side by side with the 923 forged and the Homna was better in every metric. Better feel, slightly better ball speed, spin, peak height landing angle and dispersion. When you add the price (the Mizuno's would be almost 50% more) all I've got is wow.

Sorry are you talking about the 757P or VX?

After watching and reading the reviews for 757vx and hitting the demo 7i head with Vizard IB WF 85 S graphite shaft extensively, I went all in and custom ordered from Honma USA a set 4-PW, A, plus 52I, 56C, 60S W21 wedges in the Vizard 105 graphite to keep relative shaft consistency. I found the stock Vizard 757 graphite ballooned, whereas the IB WF 85 had more of a sloping trajectory and surprisingly similar to my previous Mizuno MP-33s in RP Rifle Flighted 5.5. I’m a bit nervous as to how the wedge shafts will perform as there was no way to try them prior to purchase.

I’m a bit fussy with my equipment and don’t like to change, i.e., can’t afford it, unless there’s significant material value in doing so. I’m getting older though, and figured this set can last a while before my swing speed forces me to refresh again.

Something must have happened to Mizuno. The models in recent years still say 1025E grain flow forged steel, but they do not have the same soft feeling as my MP-33s. I first noticed it back with the MP-5s. Just feels unpleasantly harder. It was because of the buttery, soft feel of the 757vx forged heads that I followed through on this purchase.

Otherwise, it was a challenge getting pseudo-fitted for the 757 line; forget about trying any of the wedges.  Honma does not have any customer pre-sales service anywhere outside of Japan it seems. I had to scrounge for a demo kit in Australia, Singapore and USA that was leftover from when Honma was still interested in 2021 (I had to visit family after a 4yr COVID holiday hiatus) Most, if not all of the analysis was DIY, based on what I know of my swing and coaching received over the years.  Very disappointing Honma given your premium price point and legacy reputation.

Can anyone compare the size of these to say srixon zx7 or zx5?

In case you are still wondering here's a sort of answer - comparing ZX5 and 747vx from address position, it would be hard to tell them apart. Same size, offset, topline visually. The sole of the Zx5 is wider and the V thing is a love it or hate it feature. In my case, 747vx in the bag, ZX5 in the closet.

Vokey SM8 56°-8 M Grind - Nippon 950 GH Neo S
