Might as well strap the entire bag to the cart and drive it into a lake, the other 13 will understand why after seeing such minor scars.

That's nothing my 3W and Hybrid have marks like that hitting out of thick rough and what not. Tools not jewels man if you're worried about sky marks just play irons.

Here's my brand new driver I put a sky mark on. Was I upset? yes but it's a golf club and I'm a bogey golfer, sh*t happens.

Maybe you can convince your wife or GF that the club is no longer any good and you need to get a new one. I know my friend does this all the time. The club is still going to perform for you but apparently your looking for an excuse to get rid of it or like someone just said your a drama queen.....busted!!!

Goodness! How could you do such a thing?! It's completely unusable now! Ship it to me and I'll throw it into lake superior for you and we'll never speak of it again. I may even make a duplicate of it to keep in my bag to throw off suspicion.

This thread reminds me of the "Are my tees fake because they measure too short" of a few years back.

they say that plastics are leaking into the water and food supply, and is very related to the makeup of estrogen, lowering men's sperm counts. I give you the OP as direct evidence of the phenomenon.

That’s no idiot mark. Not even close!

I have long since sold the club, but I once popped up a drive on the first tee box so badly that I had to yell “FORE!  ON THE PUTTING GREEN!!!!!”  The ball landed right in the middle of the packed practice green, and yeah, that one was a serious sky mark.

I struggle to believe that the OP is serious, but in the event that they are, here are a few options. (I have included images of each described below).

1. Send the club to a refinisher to have the head repainted. I had Continental Golf strip a few fairway woods as an experiment. The heads are raw steel, that have been blasted and clear coated. No paint left to chip.

2. Strip the club yourself. I picked up a beat up TM Raylor 7 wood. Stripped the head with paint stripper, progressively sanded and then bead blasted with an inexpensive blaster. Finished with a matte clear coat.

3. Purchase and apply protective tape/film. ‘Ghost Tape’ (or a similar product) is nearly invisible at address if applied properly. You can trim to any width you would like. A roll would last you a lifetime.

4. Purchase a club that does not have a traditional topline. Cobra Speedzone and Radspeed drivers and fairways are a current example.

If this is truly a major issue for you there are    many viable options or you can sell the golf club and hit replay.
